Scope Of Business

The scope of business from the eyes of the consumer is to provide them transport from one location to another safely and on time. Since airblue is a hybrid product the scope of business involves both a service aspect and a product dynamic. The future scope of business would involve them going to more locations and increasing the frequency of flights on their existing sectors. The focus of its operations is Domestic operations within Pakistan and focusing on middle east in terms of international region of operation. However it also flies to UK but no other European city making it tougher for them to build a client base for European sectors. The main function of an Airline is transport however other applications include transport of goods and cargo . There are various users whose needs have to be met by an airline. They include Business travellers: Businessmen and company employees need to travel often for meetings, seminars, training sessions etc. Their only issues would be getting to their destination at the appropriate times therefore their involvement will be low. Opinions on brand differences may vary depending on income class; the rich will value comfort and will willingly pay more for it whereas medium and lower class businessmen will value price as their main issue thereby their choices will be made on monetary costs alone. Therefore business travellers follow variety seeking behaviour.

Leisure travellers: These include people travelling domestically or internationally with the purpose of meeting their relatives. Those travelling for a vacation or leisure will be highly involved and will consider the differences between brands as their perfect holiday will be at stake. Since the whole holiday experience begins and ends with the flight in can often be held responsible for setting the tone of how the experience will be. Hence the values offered by different airlines can become a major factor in choosing the Right Airline. Thus for them it will be a complex buying behaviour. Emergency flyers: If one needs a ticket for a certain place as soon as possible he will not care about what is on stake or if there are any brand differences in the airlines, he would buy any ticket that is available to him that matches his time deadlines. Hence with low brand difference and low involvement this will for him be a habitual buying behavior. Airblues greatest innovation has been their technology implementation, making it the industry trend setters which also are their greatest single reason for success.This allows for much greater level of service and added value for customers.
