ER>ER
ER>ER (Energy Recovery > Emission Reduction in Manufacturing and Process Industries) is a Europe-wide project supported by the European Commission under Sustainable Industry Low Carbon scheme (SILC) I Programme. The project is coordinated by Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes (EEIP) in partnership with Finnfjord, Norway. Focusing on industries covered by the ETS with potential in energy or waste heat recovery, ER>ER project is designed to support these sectors to cope with the challenges of the low carbon economy and how to remain competitive. The ER>ER project starts from a sector-specific interests, ensuring for the development of energy recovery best practice exchange focusing on both technical and no-technical barriers.

Why EEIP
Technological neutrality, European and cross-industry approach, coverage of supplier and users and a focus on industrial energy efficiency are key success factors to influence the debate overcoming the limits of perceived particularity interest representation. EEIP (Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes) is a neutral, not-forprofit business and policy platform. It was launched in April 2010 at the European Commission. It has more than 17.000 community members (June 2012) with interest in industrial energy efficiency. EEIP is the first B2P (business to policy) organisation.. EEIP work is supported by its Partners and by the European Commission.

About DENEFF
The German Industry Initiative for Energy Efficiency e.V. (DENEFF) is the voice of the energy efficiency sector in Germany. More than 60 frontrunner companies collectively develop technology-neutral regulatory and funding policies to realize the market potential of energy efficiency. Read more www.deneff.org.
