Queries ELEVATORS: 1. Specified Standard for Elevators JIS/JEC Remarks: Elevators without Machine room shall comply with EN-81 Code of regulation for Traction Elevators. 2. Provide Manufacturers Guarantee / Warrantee against manufacturing defects and disabilities such guarantee should not be less than five years from the date of substantial completion. Remarks: Guarantee /Warrantee for the specified period can be provided subject to the Maintenance of Conveying systems shall be given to the Elevator supplier. 3. Document III-2: Point No.2.04A specifies Geared Hoisting Machines. Remarks: All elevators shall be Gearless Traction machines. 4. Rated car load in the schedule of elevators specifies 13 Passenger/1000KG. Remarks: Elevators shall be 1050KG Capacity/14 Passengers as per EN-81

Queries Codes of Regulations 5. Document III-2: Point No.2.27 Schedule of Elevator specifies Hydraulic Platform with 1000Kg Capacity. Remarks: Hydraulic Platforms are not available from the Mitsubishi standard range of products and hence shall not be included in our offer. Kindly confirm if other brands can be proposed. ESCALATORS 1. Section 14700 specifies 7700mm rise with 35 degree inclination. Remarks: As per EN-115 Codes of Regulation, for the Rise>7000mm the inclination shall be 30 degree. 2. Document III-4: Bills of Quantities indicate No.: of Escalators with 7700mm Rise as 8, Whereas Document III-2: Specifications Point 1.1 indicates No. of Escalators with 7700mm Rise as 4. 3. Intermediate Support beams between the Moving walks are not shown in the drawings. Remarks: Moving walks with more than 11m Length require Intermediate supports. 4. Drawing No.:AG421 indicates Pit Depth of only 450mm between the Entry and Exit points. Remarks: A minimum of 675mm Pit Depth throughout the Moving Walk length is required.
