Associated Student Government University Committee Application 2012 -2013


The application period for the University Committee Appointments is from August 20st thru September 12th by Noon. University Committees are open to all full time University of Arkansas students. Committee appointments will be for one academic year. Any questions should be referred to Bobby Pennington, ASG Vice President asgvp@uark.edu. All information must be accurate and complete or your application will not be processed. I hereby give my consent to the Office of Student Activities and the Office of Academic Integrity and Student Conduct to examine my academic and disciplinary records for the purpose of verifying that I meet the requirements for participation in co-curricular activities (GPA of 2.25 and enrolled in at least 12 hours as an undergraduate or 6 hours as a graduate student). I understand that if selected as a University Committee member I will be responsible for all duties assigned as a part of my committee membership. I understand that as a University Committee member I will be responsible for attending and actively participating in committee meetings and will be responsible for meeting regularly as well as sending by-monthly reports to the ASG Vice President. I understand that as a University Committee member I represent ASG and the students of the University of Arkansas. I will do my best to actively seek input from students regarding the work of my committee and promise to dedicate my servitude to upholding the best interest of the student population and the University of Arkansas as a whole. I understand that after each committee meeting I must complete and turn in a full report of the committees progress and work. I understand that as an appointed member of ASG I am held to a higher standard and I will abide by the ASG Standard of Ethics (Outlined in the ASG Constitution, Article VII).
