ORDER CONTINUING TRIAL
AND SETTING DATES
This order comes upon the stipulated motion of the United States to continue trial
until a date uncertain and set a date for a status conference.
The Court specifically adopts the factual averments proffered by the Government
in its Stipulated Motion to Continue, as well as its reasoning, and finds pursuant to
18 U.S.C. 3l6l(h)(7)(B)(iv) that failure to continue the trial as set herein would
unreasonably deny the parties reasonable time for preparation, taking into account the
exercise of due diligence, inasmuch as discovery in the case is voluminous and ongoing;
and failure to continue would deny the parties adequate time to engage in plea
negotiations. Further and specifically:

WHEREAS counsel for the Government has represented that discovery in the case
is voluminous, consisting of several CDs containing hundreds of gigabytes of data;
And WHEREAS counsel for the Government has represented that discovery is also
ongoing, with additional CDs expected to be provided as the result of search warrants
executed in the case, with additional hundreds of gigabytes of data to be delivered to the
Defendant;
And WHEREAS the parties have been engaged in negotiations aimed at resolving
this case, and, potentially, additional cases as part of a global resolution;
THEREFORE,
It is hereby ORDERED, that the trial in the above-captioned matter is continued
until a date may be determined at status conference. That status conference will be set for
