The suits are Cups/Hearts (Copas), Coins/Diamonds (Oros), Clubs (Bastos) and Swords/Spades (Espadas). These cards, or naipes, are numbered from Ace (As) to 7, then 10 to 12. Card 10 is also known as the Jack (Sota), Card 11 as the Knight (Caballo) and Card 12 as the King (Rey).
