REPORT CARD DISTRIBUTION
Printed Report Card Distribution and Honors Certificates will
be ready for pick up at the HS Office on Monday, January
19. Only Parents will be allowed to pick up Report Cards.
Students will not be allowed to claim their report cards.
SENIOR GRADUATION GOWNS
To Seniors who have NOT had their measurements taken, the
schedule for measurement will be on Monday, January 19 at
2.30 pm (Homeroom) at the LT.
PHOTOS
Parents/Students who ordered photos please don’t forget to
send payment. The HS Office will only accept check
payments. Please make the check payable to PHOTO
CONCEPTS STUDIO.
SENIOR CLASS RINGS
Sign up for orders are still ongoing at the HS Office. If you
already ordered, Please don’t forget to pay for your class ring!
Payments should be done at the Cashiers Office.
EVENT:
What : ISM’s University Kickoff/College Night for Parents
When: Monday, February 2nd
Time: 5-7pm
Come hear details about higher education opportunists in
the UK, Australia, Canada, Malaysia/Singapore, and the
United States. We will have representatives from each of
the educational systems discussing the variety of
opportunities available.
The program is open to the entire ISM community and I
strongly encourage all juniors to attend with at least one
parent.

From the ATHLETICS OFFICE:
Good luck to our Golf team
and our Rugby team who will
play in Bangkok and Taipei
this weekend at the IASAS
Golf Tournament and the TAS
Rugby exchange. Our golf
team has been working hard
on their game and our girls’
team will be looking to defend the gold medal
they won last year in the IASAS Golf teams’
event. This will also be a great test for our
varsity rugby team in the lead up to the IASAS
tournament in a few weeks.
**A big thanks to all parents who
will be housing athletes for this
weekend’s tennis exchange and
swim meet. We have the ISB tennis
team and swim teams from TAS
and American School of Japan
flying in to compete on Saturday
here at school.
LET’S GO GREEN:
All faculty, students and parents are invited to this
month’s school-wide ‘Let’s Go Green’ meeting on
Monday, January 26th
3-4pm in room 3072
This is a great opportunity to share ideas about
promoting environmental responsibility in school.
This month we will be putting our heads together
to plan how to meaningfully celebrate Earth Week
(April 20-24) here at ISM.
If you are unable to make the meeting but have
some suggestions or questions, please don’t
hesitate to email me.

REMINDERS:
IASAS Rosters will be finalized this week by the
coaching staff and information packets will be
coming home in the next week with all details
about the 2nd season IASAS events. All students
on Varsity squads should have submitted their
passports to ATAC for checking and once the
coaches select the IASAS teams full details of all
trips will be sent home with students.
• THIMUN delegation departs Jan 23/24 for The
Hague, Netherlands.
• Tryouts for 3rd season sports (Badminton,
Softball, Track and Field) begin Feb 9th.
• 2nd Season IASAS FEB 4-8
Rugby/Touch at Singapore
Swimming/Tennis at Bangkok
Basketball at Taipei
IASAS Send off assembly is on Jan 28th in
room 1057 immediately following the HS
assembly. All 2nd season IASAS traveling
athletes are expected to attend the lunch
sponsored by the Bearcat Parents
The Green Rules (listed below), as well as
our other green policies, are all published
there.

last person to leave the room.
» Switch off all computer monitors when not
in use.
» Switch off and shut down all computers at
break, at lunchtime and after school.
» Use natural light as often as possible.
» Use both sides of paper whenever possible.

This vaccination should be renewed every 3 years and is recommended for people who travel to endemic
areas (including many areas of the Philippines) and also for the following target individuals:
• food handlers such as dietary personnel, cooks, waiters, servers, dieticians, nutritionists
• microbiology lab technicians
• persons with intimate exposure to a documented S. Typhi. carrier or patient.
If you would like more information or you wish to sign up to receive the above vaccine, please contact the
clinic on the number/email below or call in to pick up a registration form (next to the elementary canteen).
Only people with a valid ISM ID may participate in this program.
PAYMENT FOR THESE VACCINATIONS MUST BE MADE TO THE CASHIER DEPARTMENT BY NO
LATER THAN FRIDAY 30TH JANUARY. VACCINES WILL THEN BE ORDERED AND NO FURTHER
REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
