Topic: Introduction of Computer Security Concept Learning Outcome:

On successful completion of this topic students should:

Identify computer security concept. Identify and discuss the information security. Discuss the critical characteristics of Information with examples.

Teaching & Learning: At the beginning of the lesson, an introduction about the subject with using MIP, then explain clearly about the methods of assessment. After that the first lesson started with explanation on meaning of computer security. Notes of the sub topics not given to students because lecturer still waiting for the student guides which should provide by the management. No quiz and no sample questions were given because the first lesson just used to do some introduction to computer network & internet security. Teacher Reflection: The lesson went fine. The students are able to get some general knowledge on basic computer security concept. The Lab 4 is in horrible condition where there is no projector screen, some of the computer is not connected to the server, and some of the mouses are not working and the cables are messy.

Topic: Computer Concepts and terminology Learning Outcome:

On successful completion of this topic students should:

Identify hardware of a computer. Identify and discuss the four basic computer operations: input, processing, output, and storage. Discuss computer software and explain the differences between system software and application software.

Teaching & Learning: At the beginning of the lesson, did ice-breaking and an introduction about the subject with using MIP, then explain clearly about the methods of assessment. After that the first lesson started with explanation on meaning of computer components, computer operation and software and hardware. Notes of the sub topics not given to students because lecturer still waiting for the student guides which should provide by the management.
