E-tivity 1: Edit, re-edit

6 (max) In evaluating the articles the following points will be taken into consideration:
content the quality of information added to the original article using ones own words to explain ideas / paraphrasing the overall way in which the original article has been improved

Stage 1:
editing an existing article on a computer-related topic (Edit)

Stage 2:
reading the edited article produced by another team and following up

on the edited article (Re-edit). instructions: The activity consists of two rounds. Topic registration: All students first need to register for one of the topics under the link Odabir wiki lanka za editiranje available at http://elf.foi.hr/course/view.php?id=19: There is a time limit for registration, as well as a limited number of places (6 places). Ideally, each topic should be covered by 2 groups of students (3+3) over two weeks.

Stage 1:
Work in groups of three to read the existing article you have chosen. The team is made up by the first three students in the list under the topic.

Check whether any part of the original wiki article has been merely copied from a web source has the wording of the original source been modified by at least 50 %? Use paraphrasing and summarizing the first draft may be a copy of the web source, but work with your colleagues to say it in your own words. Exceptionally, students may choose to insert a quote, but in that case the source has to be acknowledged. - Sign your work. You have a week to complete the task. Make sure you do not fall behind the schedule.

Stage 2:
Work in groups of three to read the edited article on the topic you have chosen. Your team is made up by the last three students in the list under the topic. Then do the following:
