A. ONING THE DEVICE

Press and hold the RED BULD button. Press PAGE button to navigate through pages. Press MENU button twice to access the applications page for TRACKS, WAYPOINT. Use ROCKER key to make across these applications.

B. NAMING WAY POINT Press and hold ENTER key Scroll using rocker key and highlight the naming section. Press ENTER to starting writing the name of your current location. In your case type the name of the STATION (Each zone has several stations. And each station has several villages where farmer farms are located). NB List of stations is with your Zonal Manager/CPA. After Writing name of station DONT change any other settings. Press OK to save. C. RECORDING TRACK Double click MENU to open a window containing: Trip computer, tracks, points, routes, etc. Scroll using ROCKER key to highlight TRACKS and press ENTER. A new window opens containing SAVE and CLEAR and two boxes indicating percentage (%) and Tracks not used. Use ROCKER key to highlight CLEAR. Another window opens asking you YES or NO. Scroll to YES and press ENTER. By doing this no track is pending for saving or to be saved. YOU DO THIS ONLY WHEN YOU ARE ON ONE CONNER OF THE FARM WAITING TO START RECORDING TRACK. Now wait for 30 seconds and start moving to record track. When you reach at the corner of the farm, stand a bit for speed to read ZERO. When you start moving to record track go to MAP page to view your movement. MAP Page(where you can see track Pointer, speed and distance covered) is second page from Information Page (where you can see 3D Satellites). NB: A farm with more than 1unit but is a block is supposed to be recorded as one track. A farm with more than 1unit but are distance a part are supposed to be recorded as separate units. But when writing name of the farmer (Write farmer name-1, 2, 3, etc. e.g. JONH-1, JOHN-1, JOHN-3, etc). D. SAVING TRACK When you finish recording track do the following: Double click MENU to open a window containing: Trip computer, tracks, points, routes, etc. Scroll using ROCKER key to highlight TRACKS and press ENTER. A new window opens containing SAVE and CLEAR and two boxes indicating percentage (%) and Tracks not used and click SAVE. A new window opens, indicating TIME and ENTIRE LOG. Click Entire LOG. A new window opens having several fields. Use ROCKER key to scroll and highlight the box containing date at TOP MOST RIGHT HAND CORNER. Press ENTER when the box is highlighted. TYPE the farmer name here. After that scroll down, and press enter to tick SHOW MAP BOX. Click OK to save. If you want to view your MAP double click MENU to open a window containing: Trip computer, tracks, points, routes, etc. Scroll using ROCKER key to highlight TRACKS and press ENTER. Scroll to your map at below screen after SAVE and CLEAR boxes. Double click your saved track. Click MAP to view your saved track. Points to note 1) Way point is recorded once in one particular station. You only record a new way point when you are in a new station. 2) When recording a new track follow step B through C.

CAUTION: AFTER SAVING 10 TRACKS PLEASE BRING YOUR GPS TO YOUR RESPECTIVE ZONAL MANAGER/IT OFFICE FOR DOWNLOAD TO THE COMPUTER. THEN DELETE ALL SAVED TRACKS AND START RECORDING AGAIN.
