GENERAL

1. Charter should be prepared so that any application given should have specified time to be worked upon. *charter 2. Working hours of Institute are not fixed, esp the lunch time. Works starts late and ends half an hour early. Whatever the time be, should be specified, and student should be entertained till the last minute of that said time. 3. Applications given for bonafide, scholarships etc. are misplaced in DR office. Duration is also not fixed. We request to please maintain a register so that any student, who applies for anything, mentions the date, roll no and subject. This can also work as reference number for aforesaid. 4. Student Interaction Timings for Deans, Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Chief Wardens, Wardens, HODs etc. should be displayed outside their offices and that slot, even if its half hour, should only be for students.

LIBRARY

Issue Return timings should be extended from 9AM to 5PM Number of books in library should be increased and book banks should be improved Books can be bought with partial payment with students. Facility of library should be displayed on Notice board as students are still not aware of it. Xerox and printing facility be available and computers should be repaired. Entry at library gate should be removed. Journals payment should be done in time.

COMPUTER CENTER/NET FACILITY

1. Department Computer Centers are usually not functional to an extent that even half of the PCs dont work. 2. There is only one scanner for the entire institute. 3. Printing facility should be improved. Printer is never available in CC. If required amount can be charged. 4. In last meeting we were promised that new photocopy machine and printer facility be made available at no profit no cost basis in a reprographic room to be made in SAC. 5. Internet facility in Hostel is inconsistent. Sometimes even for hours net is unavailable in hostels though its available in IT park. 6. Cyberroam should be removed and shouldnt be installed intermittently

ACADEMICS

1. Conversion factor should be 9.5 to 10 as we follow absolute marking scheme and according to other institute policy. 2. Result should be mailed to students 3. Rules for Makeup examinations should be specified clear-cut 4. Provisional letters and DMCs (especially for third and final year students) should be made available within one month of declaration of results. 5. Transcripts should be made available within a specified time

GATE TIMINGS
1. Hostel gate timings of girls hostel should be increased by atleast one hour(from 7.15 pm to 8.00 pm), atleast within the campus, main gate timings can remain the same. 2. Hostel caretaker should have the authority to extend the hostel gate timings when needed for valid reasons.

HOSTEL
1. Atleast four, 3 in corridors +1(mess) fully functional water cooler-cum-purifier should be made available in every hostel/dept. 2. Any complaint should have fixed duration for action, esp wrt to estate office. Many a times even after a written complaint from hostel, action is not taken for a month. 3. Guest diet should be made available to day scholars. Some girls day scholars are not allowed to enter girls hostel. 4. Permission for cooler should be given, extra money can be charged. 5. Coffee Machine, Printer, Washing Machine be made accessible in every hostel. 6. Taps, flushes etc should be repaired. Water timing should be increased or at least provided intermittently so that water tanks are filled back.

SPORTS
1. Facilities for the students representing our college in other institutes should be specified and increased. Some teams get the facilities while others dont. 2. Gymnasium has poor facilities and is outdated.

CAMPUS AMMENITIES
1. Drinking water facilities at canteens and DS 2. Canteens and DS deliberately never have change even for Rs 5, rate is not displayed as asked in last meeting, quality of food is poor 3. Xerox facility should be increased 4. During any guest lectures, we usually never have good mike facility and it malign the image of institute. Same goes for audio system in CSH

5. Campus roads are poorly lit in night, bulbs even replaced get fused within months.
