In this presentation the idea of using nanoantennas which is a advancement in solar power is implied. BLOCK DIAGRAM:

Micro controller

Nano antennas eliminate the defects in solar panel that they couldnt be charged at night.so we get power as much as we need even in night and store it in a battery and supply the power to the devices. The nano antennas, battery and devices are monitored to get the devices charged correctly. NANO ANTENNAS: Theres no practical way to directly detect infrared light with silicon, but weve shown that it is possible if we combine the semiconductor to a nanoantenna. We expect this technique will be used in new scientific instruments for infrared-light detection and for higher-efficiency solar cells. BATTERY:The energy from the solarpower is stored in the battery for future use.the nano antennas can directly supply power but if the energy is stored in battery then only at the needed time the power could be used and ganaration need not take place.

DEVICES:These are the things which are to be charged.

MICROCONTROLLER: Here the bi-directional controlling is establishedby the microcontroller.

Its connected with the solar, and load to control the whole process. All the status of solar and battery are observed by the microcontroller. The whole decision is being come from this microcontroller. This microcontroller follows the program which is burned into it. This program is written on the basis of theoretical concept to increase the battery efficiency. (microcontroller 8051 or PIC can be used) Many components which needs to operate the portable set effectively will also be included but these are main components. The algorithm needed here is only for the micro controller and hence the battery charging and discharging takes place.

ALGORITHM(for battery)
[1] If battery voltage is less than 10v, then controller turns on the battery charging.
[2] If battery voltage is less than 12v, load is disconnected from battery (for 12V load).

[3] If battery voltage is greater than 15V, controller turns off the battery charging. [4] If battery voltage is greater than and equal 12V, load can be connected with battery normally (for 12V load). By this algorithm the energy wastage is minimised since the battery is charged only upto a useful value. Thus a portable renewable generator could be designed using nano attennas which could be much useful in future as it is the need of the hour.
