LEARNING FROM EUROPE

The evening before The Awards Ceremony you are invited to attend Learning from Europe, an International Seminar with the nalists of The European City of the Year Award - Antwerp, Hamburg & Lyon.
Hosted by BDP in their Clerkenwell ofces, Learning from Europe will focus on the lessons to be learned from three fascinating, forwarding-thinking and diverse cities. Come along to learn how... ...Antwerp has re-branded itself as Europes place to be (Lonely Planet), driven by fashion, design and culture, employing the distinctive philosophy of slow urbanism ...Hamburg is delivering large scale, award-winning regeneration through its transformational IBA and HafenCity projects ...Lyon is proactively re-thinking and re-allocating industrial land at the conuence of the Sane and the Rhne to create new areas of prime, mixed-use development adjacent to the city centre
