This week, Im going to be with my site supervisor. At about 9' o clock my supervisor reached the company, he met me with great excitement and we discuss what we are going to do in this week. My supervisor told me they are mainly dealing with the following functions of organization:1. Human resources planning 2. Staffing 3. Training & Development Human 27/08/2012 Resource 4. Compensation Management 5. Employee Evaluation 6. Employee Movement and Replacement And later we discuss how human resource is playing its part in planning. He told me they are monitoring internal and external environments with other executive and planning for the improvement and development of the organization. Organizing and implementing human resource needs in the current situations and for the coming years.

Today, I got some knowledge about how a job description and job specification is designed: Job specifications are a statement of the human qualifications required to perform the job. Among the qualifications which are often included in job specifications are the following:Educational standards which may spell out, for example, degrees attained, such as a B.S. in engineering. Human 28/08/2012 Resource Experience requirements, such as two years of general clerical experience for the position. This job requires directing the work of from two to ten clerical employees, and therefore would normally require some prior experience in actually performing clerical duties. Skills requirements, such as typing 80 words per minute, or being able to take dictation by an executive etc. And job description includes what actually would the job of a person is and these job descriptions are prepared by the help of interviews from the floor experts and by surveys.

Today i saw that At Azgard Limited, recruitment is done internally as well externally. Recruiting is to attract qualified people to apply for positions with an organization. Azgard advertise their job in newspaper but let the people be informed by existing employees. Most of new employees are hired on reference basis. There are various authorities to hire the people for various positions.

Today, I come to know that HR is actively participating in getting and designing an efficient and effective system for maintaining their workforce. My supervisor told me that When choosing a system, always remembers that the selection is not expected to last forever. That thought should provide a glimmer of hope and some optimism, too. The selection is important and should be taken with great care. ItsFriday and I am at company to meet with my supervisor and he told me that he had to attend a company meeting at admin office at Gulberg so he is leaving. And I spend my hours in checking some company.

During this day at Azgard Textile, I found that HR department uses to develop various user groups for example there is separate software running for the work force of processing department and

similarly for stitching department. I spend my day in knowing something about thissoftware,how company using them for their work. Oracle softwares are in use for the employees pay roll system and pay breakup, all the programming has been done by IT department. In pay roll system there is an employee form where the data has recorded and pay break up system is also the part of these pay roll forms. There exists auto generation system at Sitara Textile, employees attendance is being checked through hand scanning recently changed from old procedure of card scanning. Answer::Actually I want to explain that in context of comparison, this company has 3 times less employees than Azgard and they adopted latest system of hand scanning but Azgard is following the same card based system.

Accomplishments1 This week i learn much about the thing which leads an organization the Human Resource. I learn how to manage the human capital and utilize our resources in best way. I learn about the things which are essential to start a new business and also necessary for current business.

Challenges2 It was a tough task to get answer of every question from anybody.The biggest challenge I have faced and still facing during my internship is that company employees do not trust on me because every time I try to get something more relevant to my interest and field I got the same words this data is very confidential and we cannot expose the third party information and we cannot share with you or any internee until he/she is employed there.

Learning Outcomes3

It was a great experience which will help me in my practical life. I learn about HR activities in a big company. I learn about preparing forms to get the beneficial and relevant information. And I also learn that an environment of trust is how much important to work at any place.
