REGARDLESS of what the media message is, or what kind of Kool-Aid they are trying to make you drink, the truth is, All Real Estate is LOCAL in nature. Unless some sort of financial catastrophe happens,(usually created by clueless Washington Bureaucrats)
What happens in Arizona, California, or Maine, it has little effect on the market in Florida.
The graphs and charts on this page are CURRENT Up-To-Date statistical information about the SW Florida real estate market. As you can see by the charts, the real estate market in SW Florida is doing well. North Port leads the field with the largest median price change increase, followed by Venice.
The information gets really interesting when you look at the increased amount of sales and the decrease in inventory. The SW Florida real estate market is going from a buyers market to a sellers market. Prices are increasing and inventory is decreasing. Boots-On-The-Ground observations are, there are many, many more construction trucks and trailers on the road. Dump truck traffic is up at least 400%. Cement trucks are again slowing traffic during early morning travel times traveling to job-sites with full loads of concrete.
