Maiocco called the Thirtieth Regular Meeting of the Medford City Council to order at 7:00 P.M at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

The Records of Meeting of September 25, 2012 were passed to Councillor Camuso. MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 12-604- Offered by President Maiocco Be it Resolved that the Council congratulate Medford resident Larry Tiner on his 39 years as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service. Larry is retiring after delivering the mail to Medford residents for almost four decades and wish him a wonderful retirement. 12-605-Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved that the recent inaccurate Transcript news story as it related to certain city councillors having conflict of interest issues be discussed. McGlynn RE: Grant of an Easement to Medford Mystic Valley, LLC, Easement Area- 980 square feet Dear Mr. President and Members of the Council: I respectfully request and recommend that your Honorable Body approve the grant of an easement to Medford Mystic Valley, LLC, 3780 Mystic Valley Parkway, Medford, MA. The purpose of this easement is to allow access through a narrow strip of land owned by the City of Medford located between Freedom Way and the residential development planned by Criterion Development Company, LLC at 3780 Mystic Valley Parkway, Medford, MA. This easement is part of the plans that received site plan review/variance approval from the City of Medford Board of Appeals in Decision No. A-2012-13 & Site Plan Review. It should also be noted that this project will result in the permanent closure of the existing driveway on Locust Street.
