1.0 DESIGNATION Project Development Officer I Investment Promotion 2.0 DIVISION Investment Generation Division (IGD) 3.0 SECTION Business Environment Enhancement Section (BEES) 4.0 REPORTING TO Division Chief IPF Economist IV

5.0 FUNCTION Enhance the business environment of the city as indicated by increase in investment, revenue, and business community satisfaction through: 5.1 Economic policy research, review, and formulation; 5.2 Business environment profiling particularly infrastructure and utilities; 5.3 Business environment monitoring and evaluation determining business community satisfaction

6.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 6.1 Policy Research 6.1.1 Identification of ordinances, executive orders, and local and national issuances relevant to local business environment. 6.1.2 Physical or online retrieval of identified policies. 6.1.3 Data banking of identified policies for systematic and efficient storage and retrieval in coordination with Information Technology (IT) Section.

6.2 Policy Review 6.2.1 Conduct policy review through comparative studies or impact analysis on the implications of related policies to local business environment. 6.2.2 Draft recommendations for consideration of higher authorities in aid of policy direction or to promote/influence public awareness.

6.4 Business Environment Monitoring 6.4.1 Devise and conduct feedback mechanisms to assess customer satisfaction of the business community through feedback forms and surveys. 6.4.2 Conduct forum with stakeholders to encourage direct participation in policy formulation stakeholders. 6.4.3 Strengthen private sector cooperation through attendance and presentation in industry association meetings, forum, and other private sector initiated activities. among industry leaders, business councils, and other
