SGX-Listed InnoTek Wins Merit Award For SIAS 2012 Corporate Governance Award Small Cap Category
SINGAPORE, 4 October 2012 InnoTek Limited (InnoTek or the Group) was presented a merit award in the Small Cap category for the SIAS (Securities Investors Association Singapore) Investors Choice 2012 Corporate Governance Awards for Singapore listed companies. Mr Yong Kok Hoon, Managing Director of SGX Mainboard-listed InnoTek, a leading regional precision metal components manufacturer, received the accolade on 3 October 2012 at a gala dinner officiated by Guest of Honour Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Singapores Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. For the past 13 years SIAS Investors Choice Awards have honoured and recognised public listed companies that practise good corporate governance. For this years award, SIAS used a new Scorecard which incorporates the views of the investors. Mr. Yong said, We are honoured to receive this award which underscores our commitment to maintain the highest standards of corporate governance and disclosure. Corporate governance has provided structure through which the objectives of InnoTek are set, and the means of attaining those objectives and monitoring performance are determined.
