Notice to Participants :
Competitors, through the submission of the entry form, acknowledge that they understand the AAC Rules and Regulations
which governs this trial and those which governs the Junior Handler Program. The Junior Handler may handle a different dog from one course to the next. Junior Handlers can only run one dog per course under their JH ID number for their Junior Handler qualifier. The dog may or may not be owned by the Junior Handler. Competitors are participating at this trial at their own risks. The Event Participation Waiver and Release of the entry form must be signed to meet the requirements of the AAC. entry.

Breakaway tires will be used on all the rings. ALL dogs must be have valid AAC ID number issued by the AAC in order to participate to an AAC Sanctioned Trial. This trial is open to all dogs, purebreed and non-purebreed, aged 18 months and older. Any dog entered with a Junior Handler may not run the same course twice.

All dogs must be kept on leash at ALL TIMES,except when performing their entered events or performing warm-ups in No leash, collar, treats, toys or other training aids will be permitted on course at any times. It is understood that the competitors have complete responsibility for the behavior of their dogs and/or their children. A
competitor whose dog or child constitutes a nuisance or whose behavior is dangerous, may at the discretion of the committee responsible for this trial, will be asked to leave the trial. In such a case, NO REFUND will be issued. Any handler who is found to be abusive to their dogs or to other participants shall be reported to the AAC Disciplinary Committee. This trial will be held Indoor in a Multi-Sport Facility on an Astro-turf surface.

A snack bar is located within the sport facility. Bleachers are available for the spectators.

Space is limited for chairs and cages. Please park in designated areas. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the sports center except at the designated areas. Please dispose your cigarette butts in the cigarette butt receptacles. Please pick up after your spills and those of your dogs, under penalty of expulsion. Help us keep the place clean in order to be able to hold a trial in future years.

Registration fees :
The registration fee for each course is $17 and $10 for Junior Handlers and $10 for the relay. Entries must be accompanied by the appropriate fee in order to be valid. Additional charges will be charged for all
returned checks and a report will be filed at the AAC. Fees are payable in Canadian dollars.

A confirmation of registration will be sent to each participant, as soon as possible, after the closing date. There will be no refund for withdrawn entries after the closing date or in the case where the handler or the dog is a no
show, is eliminated or expelled by the committee responsible for the trial, the judge or a veterinarian.

The owner of a dog that comes into heat or are injured will be refunded, provided that the Trial Secretary is advised prior
to the date of the trial and that the competitor presents a veterinarians certificate at that time.

An entered dog who has earned a title on a previous competition can go to the next level if its handler notifies the Trial
Secretary at least a week before the date of the trial.

The dogs who earn a title in the Friday and/or Saturdays events will be allowed to move-up the next day, provided that
the Trial Secretary is notified before the end of the day of obtaining the title.

Description of the Class Levels:


Special Class: is open to all dogs. Other than the one time move up rule, dogs once entered in Special Class in a
Sanctioned AAC Trial , may no longer compete in a Regular class level (except dogs under 2 years old); however, the dogs are eligible for the Veteran class level. Veteran Class: is for dogs seven (7) years of age or older. This class is also open to dogs five (5) years of age or older who have been competing in the Special class level for a minimum of twelve (12) months. A dog may no longer compete in the Regular classes once entered at an official trial in any of the Veteran classes. Junior Handlers : o The Veterans course time will be used in Junior Handler class o At the Advanced or Master level, the JH competitor will be eliminated if the parent /guardian enters the ring or offers assistance from outside of the ring or if the JH does an obstacle repetition in a Challenge Class.

The running order will be published. There will be no period of familiarisation but there will be a designed warm-up area with one (1) Jump to practice. To ensure the smooth running of the trial, each competitor is responsible for monitoring their running order in order to be present and ready at least three (3) dogs before his turn. The competitors, who do not show up in time, will lose their turn and will not be reimbursed.

Ribbons and Prizes :


All dogs obtaining a Q will receive a ribbon. Ribbons, or rosettes will be awarded to the 1st to the 4th place in each class. In addition, an official certificate will be sent by the AAC to the Junior Handlers who earned titles according to the
regulations of the AAC. A rosette will be awarded to all those who obtains a title. A prize will be awarded for the best performance of each event. All Junior Handlers obtaining a Q will receive a ribbon. A separate classification will be made for the Junior Handlers only.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry by AAC and Club dAgilit de Montral en comptition (the Organizing Club) and the opportunity to have the Dog participate, compete in and/or be judged at this event or trial (the Event), I, the undersigned, agree as follows: 1. I certify that I am the actual owner of the Dog, or that I am the duly authorized agent of the actual owner of the Dog and that the Dog is not a hazard to persons, property or other dogs. 2. 3. I agree that AAC or the Organizing Club for the Event may refuse my entry for any reason that it deems to be sufficient. I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event carries certain risks, including, but not limited to injuries (including serious injuries and death) to myself, the Dog, another dog under my control or persons attending as my guests (my Related Parties), damage to property and other losses. I waive any and all claims that I have or may have in the future against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue AAC, the Organizing Club or any of the directors, executives, committees, representatives, employees, volunteers or agents of either AAC or the Organizing Club (the Personnel) for any injury, death, property damage or other loss that I or my Related Parties sustain due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, breach of duty, statutory or otherwise, or mistakes or errors of judgment of any kind. I assume full responsibility for the conduct of myself and my Related Parties during the entirety of the Event. I agree to indemnify and save harmless AAC, the Organizing Club and the Personnel from and against any and all claims that may be made against them or costs, fees, expenses or liability (including, without limitation, lawyers fees on a solicitor and own client basis) incurred by AAC, the Organizing Club or the Personnel that may arise due to: (1) any act or omission of myself, my Related Parties or any party for whom I am liable at law; or (2) aggressive behaviour by the Dog or any other dog under my control. I have read, and do understand the rules of competition and the additional rules (if any) appearing in the trial schedule for the Event, as well as the policies of AAC pertaining to discipline (collectively, the Rules). I agree to abide by the Rules and to conduct myself and the Dog in accordance with the Rules. I understand that myself and/or the Dog may be subject to disciplinary procedures or sanctions for breach of the Rules and agree to respect and be bound by any disciplinary decision made by AAC. I understand that AAC and/or the Organizing Club may, in the course of administering the Event or conducting its activities generally, collect, use or disclose my personal information and that any personal information collected, used or disclosed by AAC and/or the Organizing Club will be treated in accordance with AAC policy and applicable privacy and personal information laws. I hereby consent to the collection, use and disclosure by AAC and/or the Organizing Club of my personal information. I have been given the opportunity to read and understand the terms of this Agreement before signing it, and have in fact done so.
