Hi all Nice questions on modelling and performance By: | 17 Sep 2008 are these real exam questions (brain dump) or just sample created by someone. By: | 25 Sep 2008 Hi, 5. How do we decide on the Characteristics to be included in a Dimension? a) When the fields (InfoObjects) have m: n relationship. b) When the fields (InfoObjects) have 1: m relationship. c) When the fields (InfoObjects) have m: 1 relationship Answer to this question will be b) 1:m relationship. Reason: m:n relationship would lead to larger dimension table. In BI, we should avoid larger dimension tables. Can Queries be used after changes are made to the InfoProvider? a) Yes b) No c) Maybe Ans : a I think this should be c) maybe. There are times that you cannot just use and run the queries immediately after you change an infoprovider for example, when you delete a characteristic in the infoprovider and that characteristic was used in the query. You may need to do some "repair" infoobjects first in the query. Well, if it's just addition of a characteristic in the infoprovider then, the existing infoprovider queries should just be ok. What do you think BI experts? By: | 12 Jul 2009 thanx for the questions. do u have any more?
