JUNIOR BIG 4 COMPETITION 8th 11th November 2012

RULES
There will be two sections Team and individual Competitors can enter as an individual or a team consisting of up to 4 members. At least one member of the team must be a current financial member of the Turangi Boars Nest Hunting & Fishing Club. Competitors who wish to enter in the individual category must be a current financial member. Competitors can enter in both sections but two entry fees must be received. Juniors must be under 16 years of age as at the start date of the competition. The animals to be caught for competition are: Goat, Possum, Hare or Rabbit and Fish (that been sea or fresh water, eel or catfish are included). Where goat/possums/rabbit or hares/fish are the same weight or same measurement then only the first goat/possum/rabbit or hare/fish weighed in will take the major prize. All four animals must be weighed together at the same time to claim a prize. All animals weighed in must be caught/shot by the paid entrant(s) with the nominated supervising adult. Carcasses are to be whole when weighed with the exception of goats which must be gutted. Male or female goats will be accepted. Only one species per hunter and/or team can be weighed in for the competition. All team members must be present to claim team prize(s). All individual prize winners must be present to claim their prize. Judges decision will be final. Judging will be by a points system based on weight. The Turangi Boars Nest Hunting & Fishing Club reserves the right of entry All nominated supervising adults must present their current fishing licence before Trout will be weighed. Trout must be legal size. No frozen or decaying animals will be accepted. Animals caught by financial members of the Turangi Boars Nest will be eligible for points toward the clubs points system. th th Competition begins at 4pm on Thursday 8 November and weigh in will be between 12pm and 2pm only on Sunday 11 November at The Maunga Tihi Riders Club, Gibson St Turangi Entry Fee: Team section - $20 and Individual section - $5 per species. Individual competitors can select which species they want to target. Send Entry forms with fee to: Boars Nest Junior Big 4 Competition. PO Box 112 TURANGI. Entries can also be handed to th Sharlyn Holt at 22 Gosling Grove or at Tongariro School. All entries must be received no later than 4pm on Thursday 8 November. No late entries will be accepted. Receipts will be mailed out.
