CSMT TALENT AND INCENTIVE SCHOLARSHIP Fall 2012 Spring 2013

Criteria:
CSMT requirements of Talent Scholarship 1. Be registered at UTB/TSC at least half time (6 SCH or more). 2. Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 3. Major in any CSMT discipline CSMT requirements of Incentive Scholarship 1. Major in a CSMT discipline 2. Cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 3. TX Resident 4. Junior or Senior standing 5. Completed between 60 and 150 SCH, with at least 3 SCH in upper level courses 6. Must not be in default 7. Half time enrollment

Criteria The College of Science, Mathematics and Technology (CSMT) is offering scholarships to students majoring in any CSMT degree from bachelor to graduate level. To apply for a CSMT Scholarship students must satisfy the following criteria:

Application Process Students must submit the scholarship application and a transcript to their corresponding department prior to the deadline. The transcript must reflect the cumulative GPA. CSMT Scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee. Award amount will be determined on a case by case basis at department level. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified by mail.

Note: The attached Nepotism form should be completed, signed, and dated. Submit it with the application.

Nepotism Question for Scholarship Applicants: State law requires that each student identify any relation to a current Board of Regents member or Board of Trustees member. A student who is related to a current member of the University of Texas Regents or the Texas Southmost College Board of Trustees is prohibited from receiving scholarships unless the scholarship is awarded exclusively based on academic merit or is an athletic scholarship.
