The most awaited day 10th August 2005, dawned heralding the centenary year celebration.

This auspicious occasion was celebrated in the school campus on the 10th, 11th & 12th of August 2005.

The day began with the Eucharistic celebration by His Excellency Bishop Yvon Ambroise the Bishop of Tuticorin. Followed by the inaugural session . A galaxy of dignitaries, VIPs and old students were present.

Mr. Danial Raaj inaugurated the Centenary Science exhibition, Dr. V. Amuthan appreciated the effort in conducting the science exhibition. Dr. S. Paramasivan, Director of School education, Govt. of Tamilnadu, Sr. Felicia Jothi, Provincial, Madurai Province, Mr. A.P.C.V. Chokalingam, Secretary V.O.C. Educational Society and Dr. Premila Devi Mary, Principal Bishop Caldwell College and Rev. Fr. Cedric Peeris took their seats along with Rev. Sr. Teresa, Sr. Siron and Mrs. Paramasivan. Sr. Felicia Jothi then honoured the former provincials and the former correspondents, the retired and the to retire staff were honoured by Dr. Paramasivam. The state rank holders and a meritorious cadet were awarded special prizes. The inaugural session was then followed by a cultural programme.

ALUMNAE DAY Crossians with beaming eyes stepped into their Alma Maters bosom on 11th August to join the centenary celebrations. Mrs. Sahayitta Machado led the prayers. After the prayer service the dignitaries Dr. Cynthia Alexander , Sr. mesmin, Dr. Bellarmine, Sr. Jeanne and Mr. Velshankar were led to the dais.

The Alumnae flag symbolizing the flutter of spirits and fortitude of hearts was unfurled by Rev. Sr. Jeanne. The Centenary Crossian cake symbolizing the soft, sweet and beautiful childhood years at school was cut by Rev. Sr. Mesmin and Dr. Cynthia Alexander.

GRAND FINALE August 12th ushered in the grand finale, bringing to an end the three day centenary celebrations. A large crowd of sisters of various congregations and parents and students awaited the arrival of the distinguished guests. The guests of honour were led to the school premises with pomp and gaiety by the school band.

The august gathering remained in rapt attention as Mr. Annamalaisamy began his speech light heartedly saying he was part of the institution due to the proximity of the TMB to this school (being opposite neighbours.) Mr. Joe Villavarayar nostalgically remembered his Alma Mater and teachers. Mr. Mohammed Meeran appreciated the school for its discipline, commitment, involvement and the working of Sisters for the cause of Love and Serve. Mrs. Ramani Vaz felicitated her Alma Mater.

The Centenary Souvenir was released by Mr. Annamalaisamy and the first copy was received by Mr. Joe Villavarayer. The project We care was then launched to empower women and to help twenty deserving but less privileged girl students to pursue their higher secondary education.

The play Olira Oliyetruvom visualized the past, present and the future, three generations in Holy Cross with their meaningful education. The four dances ballet, folk, goan and western interspersed in the course of the play did ward off the tedium of watching a play at a stretch. The gathering dispersed, filled with a deep sense of pride ,for having being witness to an epoch marking event.
