Through out the duration of the production, I have been continuously looking at various sounds which me and my to expand and come up with more options for our production. For instance we have been looking at other dramas which have conveyed the same kind of story line as this has helped develop our idea even more. When looking at sound I have been working closely with the editor and the director as she has advised me on what may be suitable and sound best for our film. I have also looked at a variety of websites, such as sound cloud and YouTube, as they have provided me with essential sound such as heart beats , footsteps and breathing which have taken my production to new heights as these little sounds have made our production come across more dramatic and striking. At the start of film, we used the soundtrack called gears of war three which helped create a tense emotional atmosphere as this allowed the audience to understand the emotional torment Sam goes through on a daily basis. This also helped the build up in our film, however at certain points this was sometimes difficult as occasionally the music didnt smoothly fit the action. Sometimes the transition from one song to the other was difficult as this process involved blending two different tracks. Also me and my group had to go to the studio to record Amy Dunns voice over as we decided to have our main protagonist speak as this would allow the audience insight into the life of Sams life. The voice over was sometimes time consuming as we had to keep re- record if the characters tone of voice came across to strong or too weak, which

would therefore encounter problems. However after three takes we eventually managed to record the sound significantly. Also I did originally plan to use sound track pro, but this did not consume some of the sounds I needed in or that fitted accordingly to my production therefore this resulted in me finding other resources from the internet. As our alternative sound cloud was the most appropriate website for our production, however this did pose a- lot of time, but eventually did convey the right atmosphere for our production. Sound was a significant factor as this would automatically give the audience some kind of feel or emotion as to what to expect from the film.
