SACRAMENTS
Dear Family, We welcome back home Fr. Thomson from his trip to India! We certainly missed him while he was gone and we are so glad he is back in the fold. Fr. Mark Fracaro will return November 1st, after traveling to visit relatives throughout eight different states. Thank you again to everyone for your donations toward the renovation of the main body of our church. Our final task, now that carpet has been laid, is to install the name plates for the windows and pews. This has been an amazing journey in restoring our church to the beauty it was decades ago. Let us all continue to Give Glory To God in worship and praise and in prayers of thanksgiving. You are an amazing parish filled with generosity, joy and caring. I ask God to bless each of you. In the Lords Love, Fr. Jim

October 21:
Faith seeks understanding: it is intrinsic to faith that a believer desires to know better the One in whom he has put his faith and to understand better what he revealed; a more penetrating knowledge will in turn call forth a greater faith, increasingly set afire by love. The grace of faith opens the eyes of your hearts to a lively understanding of the contents of Revelation. (CCC, n. 158)

Jesus showed through both his teachings and example that true greatness in God's Kingdom comes through humbly serving the needs of others. Jesus demonstrated this clearly and definitely by freely offering his life for the sake of our salvation. As Good Stewards our lives are transformed. Let us follow our Lord's example so that we might be found worthy of the Kingdom.
