Delegates Coordinator

This individual is responsible for a positive delegate experience. In a sense, this position is essentially quite like a customer service role, wherein you are the contact point for all prospective delegates. In other words, it is the responsibility of the Delegates Coordinator to ensure that each and every delegate has a great experience with TEDx McMaster U. Professionalism is a key aspect of the TEDx experience and we want our delegates to walk away inspired. TEDx requires that everyone seeking a ticket to a TEDx event ll out an application and meet certain criteria. Developing this application will be part of the responsibility of the Delegate Coordinator. Responsibilities: developing delegate application and working alongside the Executive Coordinator to select applicants contacting delegates to let them know if they have been accepted or declined, and delivering tickets to accepted delegates responding to delegate questions, queries, or concerns in a timely manner, providing them with any required information developing a delegate survey to gather feedback from delegates after the event
