Trelleborg Dowty Malta Ltd material reference 5575 is an Acrylonitrile - Butadiene based compound specifically designed to give good resistance to mineral based lubricating oils and greases. It should be noted that 5575 complies with the following specification: ASTM D2000 M2BG 714 B14 EA14 EF11 EF21 EO14 Z1 Z2 Z3, where Z1 = 75+/-5 IRHD, Z2 = Ageing in Air: 70 hrs @ 100OC, Z3 = Ageing in IRM 903: 70 hrs @ 100OC
Compound Key Properties include : - Good mechanical strength. - Low compression set. - Good heat resistance. - Good resistance to mineral oils and greases. - Projected service temperature range of -30 to +110C which is dependent upon medium to be sealed and conditions of service.
