(A Government of India Undertaking) TENDER NOTIFICATION FOR SUPPLY OF DIARIES & PLANNERS FOR THE YEAR 2010.

Canara Bank, a leading Public Sector Bank, invites sealed tenders for procurement of around 50,000 Chief Diaries, 5,000 Executive Diaries and 5,000 Planners for the year 2010 from the manufacturers who meet the following eligibility criteria: 1] 2] 3] 4] 5] Should have been in the line for 5 years. Should have fully automated process, right from printing, cutting and stitching and binding, preferably in Kolbos machine. Should have a minimum turnover of Rs. 10.00 crore Should have executed a single Bulk order of minimum 50,000 Diaries. Should have reputed Companies and Banks in their list of clientele.

Criteria No. 3, 4 & 5 are relaxable in case of planner Diaries. The manufacturers who submit their offers will have to provide corporate profiles, credentials and also references from the buyers for whom the bulk supplies have been effected. The specifications for the Diaries & Planner Diaries are given in the Annexure. The manufacturers have to submit their tender along with the samples of the Chief Diary /Executive Diary/ Planner Diary as the case may be or for all the three categories specified in Annexure, in one sealed cover. The Price Bid has to be submitted in another sealed cover superscribed as Price Bid. The said two covers should be put in a larger cover superscribed as Bid for Supply of Diaries / Planner Diaries as the case may be. After opening the tenders, the Bank will screen the offers submitted by the manufacturers who satisfy the eligibility criteria and shortlist the qualified manufacturers. The samples of such short listed manufacturers will only be considered by the bank for evaluation. The price bids of such manufacturers whose sample/s is/are approved will only be considered by the bank for opening of price bid.

2 :2: The manufacturer who has quoted the least rate (L1) in price bid will be awarded the contract provided that the Bank is satisfied with the quality of Diaries / Planner Diaries. The supplies of Diaries & Planner Diaries will be subject to the terms and conditions of Contract of Sale.
