ABSTRACT MOCHAMAD AMRI SANTOSA: The Internal Effectiveness of Training of Learning Web (E-learning) Utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten.

Thesis. Yogyakarta: Graduate School, Yogyakarta State University, 2012. This study aims to find out : 1) how the training design of learning web (elearning) utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten, 2) response of the trainee to the training of learning web (e-learning) utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten, 3) internal training effectiveness base on learning outcome of training of learning web (elearning) utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten, and 4) supporting and inhibiting factors of the training program. This was a descriptive quantitative study. The data were obatined from questionnaire and document, while to confirmed and revealed that have not been listed yet on the questionnaire and the documents used interviews and observations. The respondents are 45 persons include trainees, school director, deputy of shool director, training coordinator, and instructors. The results show that the training design is less effective, because the allocated time is not enough for trainees to mastering some competencies. The trainees response are very good, with a score of 3.401 in scale 1-4. The highest score is obtained from the indicator of the response to the instructors, that is 3.671, while the lowest score is obtained from the indicator of the suitability of training materials with the trainees background, that is 3.229. The internal effectiveness of the training based on learning outcome is effective with average learning outcome of 82.01. The highest score is obtained from indicator of trainee can edit the profile and the setting course, that is 9.03 from maximum score of 10 (90.30%), the lowest score is obtained from the indicator of the trainee can manage the students grade, that is 3.34 from maximum score of 5 (66.74%). The supporting factors of the training include the instructors ability to guide and assist the trainees in mastering the training materials. The inhibiting factors of the training include the lack of training materials suitable with the trainees education, unstable internet connection, and no air conditioners in the training room. This research aims to find out : 1) how the training design description of learning web (e-learning) utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten, 2) response level of the trainee to the training of learning web (e-learning) utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten, 3) training effectiveness based on learning result level of training of

learning web (e-learning) utilization in SMK Negeri 3 Klaten, and 4) supporting and inhibiting factors of the training program. This was an evaluation research with descriptive approach. The evaluation criterion used was the four-level Kirkpatrick model. Data of the training design and learning result were obtained by study document and trainees response data were collected by questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive technique. The results show that the training design has involved related parties, but there is still a weakness, that is, a mismatch between the planned schedule and the training implementation. The category of the total score of the questionnaire responses is very good, with a score of 3335 (85.08%). The highest score is obtained from the indicator of the response to the instructors, that is 514 (91.79%),

while the lowest score obtained from the indicator of the suitability of training materials with the trainees background, that is 452 (80.71%). The average learning outcome is 82.01, with the details as follows: 1 trainee (2.86 %) in the very good category, 28 (80.71%) in the good category, and 6 (17.14%) in the fair category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the training on the level learning outcome is effective. The supporting factors of the training include the instructors ability to guide and assist the trainees in mastering the training materials. The inhibiting factors of the training include the lack of training materials suitable with the trainees education, unstable internet connection, and no air conditioners in the training room.
