Give God Credit
When we stop to think about it, there are many times when we fail to give God the credit that is due him. Maybe we forget, overlook, or are too busy to do so. But just as we ought to say thank you to someone who has done something for us, we should remember to thank God. One of our unique traditions at FCC is the Thanksgiving Eve Candlelight Testimony Service. For many this is a highlight as they stand to give God credit for the ways they have seen him at work in the past year. It is a powerful time of listening to one anothers journeys. It is a time when singles and families alike recognize not only Gods role, but the important part that this local church has played in their lives. 1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. Everyone is busy during the holidays and it takes an effort to get together with others. Nonetheless, I encourage you to do it for the Lord as he deserves the glory; to attend for your familys sake as the children need to hear their parents testify; for the benefit of those who need to be lifted up as they hear your story; and for yourself because you need to both receive and give. Hope to see you 6:30PM Wednesday November 21st @ FCC.

Feeding Ministry Launches Wednesday November 7th

One of the ideas that people latched onto when we moved into this building, was to use the great kitchen/ cafeteria space for some kind of feeding ministry. With the success of our Clothing Pantry we are taking another step of faith and are launching a modest Feeding Ministry. Pastor Mark and the newly forming team are laying out four Wednesday PMs over the next year when FCC will provide a meal for any needy families in our community. The dinner will be completely free to the recipients with no strings attached. Besides helping set up, cook, serve, and clean up, we are asking the FCC family to come and eat alongside our

neighbors. This is not the time to simply visit with the people we see every week, it is intended as an opportunity to meet and welcome new people. Thus, you have a very vital part to play. You dont have to go find the people, we will bring them in to you. Lets shine Jesus light by loving our neighbors as ourselves, which is Jesus 2nd greatest commandment after loving God. Join us as we attempt to demonstrate in practical deeds the faith we believe in our hearts. Michiana Youth Ministry
As we did last year, FCC will be partnering with Terry McBrides Michiana Youth Ministry retreats this month by allowing them the use of our facility. Please make them feel welcome if you happen to see them wandering the hallways. Pray God uses these retreats to touch many young hearts with the Gospel.
