Making the Most of Moments Together

Most married couples would tell you that their lives contain
moments of challenge, stress and strain…even before they arrive
at church on Sunday morning!
While it may be easy to poke fun at the harried lifestyle of a
blissfully wedded couple, God created and highly values mar-
riage and family. In the midst of the chaotic race we call life, it is
important to make the most of the moments you have together as
a married couple.
As a church, we desire to see this happen. As a church, we are
committed to help you do this.
One simple way for us to help you appreciate your mate is
to invite you to attend our Friday, February 13th, pre-Valentine
reception here at FFC. From 7 to 9PM in Fellowship Hall, you
will enjoy the rich company of others, wonderful appetizers /
dessert, an encouraging presentation from Mike Hartwig of the
Iowa Family Policy Center and Marriage Matters of Iowa, and a
exceptional gift for each couple.
The cost is only $10 per couple. Childcare will be provided.
Space will be limited, so don’t delay in “Making the Most of
this Valentine Moment.” Reserve a place for yourself and your
mate in the foyer today!
For more information, contact the Adult Ministries office,
255.2122 or Adult@FirstFederated.org.
