AN ACT CONCERNING Adultery Legalization FOR the purpose of repealing the criminalization of committing adultery. BY repealing Article Criminal Law Title 10 Crimes Against Public Health, Conduct, And Sensibilities Subtitle 5 Crimes Against Marriage 10-501 Adultery SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE MARYLAND STUDENT LEGISLATURE, That the Laws of Maryland be read as follows: Article -- Criminal Law 10-501 (a) Prohibited. -- A person may not commit adultery. (b) Penalty. -- A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction shall be fined $ 10. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that this law shall take effect January 1, 2013. MANDATES: Martin OMalley, Governor of Maryland
