BE IT ENACTED BY THE MARYLAND STUDENT LEGISLATURE that the laws of Maryland read as follows: 1-203. PROHIBITED ACTS (A) GENERALLY. THE DEPARMENT, STATE BOARD, COUNTY BOARDS, PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND OTHER PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL AUTHORITIES MAY NOT INCLUDE CONSIDERATIONS OF RACE, ETHNICITY OR NATIONAL ORIGIN IN ANY CAPACITY REGARDING STUDENTS. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this act shall take effect on June 1, 2012.
