    The child development certificate program provides students an in-depth study of child development from birth through age 12. The program is designed to give students practical knowledge in caring for and educating children. Students take courses in the fall and spring semesters covering topics like early childhood education, curriculum development, child growth and guidance, infant and toddler care, practicum experience, children with special needs, and family/community relations. Upon completion of the program courses, students are awarded a Certificate of Completion. Articulated credit may be available for some courses completed in high school.

This program is designed to give the student a practical working knowledge of the child. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
