Opportunities 2013
Will you join Agora Partnerships and Georgetown Universitys McDonough School of Business as a sponsor of early-stage impact investing?
Small-business entrepreneurs are the worlds frontline risk takers, job creators, and problem solvers, but too many world-changing enterprises fail due to the lack of effective support before they can truly scale. To this end, the primary goal of Impact Investing in Action is to deliver capital to outstanding, socially-focused, incubated entrepreneurs. The conference is both a pitch fest, as well as a platform for high-level discussion about advancing the field of seed-stage impact investing. Impact Investing in Action 12, sponsored primarily by Emory Universitys Goizueta Business School, attracted more than 100 attendees, including 25 small businesses and 25 investors. We are currently in due diligence to close $18 million in investments as a result of the connections facilitated at last years conference. Read more about last years conference at impactinvestinginaction.org. Due to the success and high demand of last years conference, we plan to increase the size of the 2013 conference with approximately 200 attendees and 40 to 50 of the highest-potential impact entrepreneurs from around the world who lead companies poised for substantial growth. The conference is the culmination of Agora Partnerships accelerator program with the generous support of Georgetown Universitys McDonough School of Business as our 2013 host sponsor. Please take a look at our levels of sponsorship and contact Renee Ledoux (rledoux@agorapartnerships.org) to discuss the opportunities. Please note that as a 501(c)3, all donations are tax deductable. The logos of all sponsors will be included on our website and in printed materials during and prior to the event. Additionally, we will be launching national and international media campaigns across print, radio, television, and digital platforms to drive the conversation around the critical nature of early-stage impact investing.
We invite you to build your brand and your networks within the community of those who create, manage, and invest in companies that are creating positive impact in their communities. Join us.
