A Knights tale

Te movie starts with Columbia logo (a Sony picture entertainment company) this is on screen for 15 seconds. Text shows up on the screen reading in medieval times a sport arose. Embraced by noble and peasant fans alike though only noble knights could compete. The sport was jousting this text is centre screen and stays on screen for 11 seconds. The movie enters at 8 seconds in; it shows two knights on horses jousting in an arena. The Knight on left of the screen gets hit and falls off his horse. This scene plays for 11 seconds. More text enters reading for one of these knights, an over-the-hill former champion, it was the end. But for his peasant squire William, it was merely the beginning. This is on screen for 10 seconds until the movie fades in and text fades outs, the scene shows a knight in armour including helmet sitting against a tree, his lance is visible in the background. The knight is not moving and you can see flies going past him and the wind blowing the bushes and trees. The scene changes to two men, one quite large with a brown beard and brown hair with his hand on his hip in casual peasant clothes and another man, smaller than him with a blonde beard and long blonde hair that is pinned away from his face. He has two pieces of cotton stuck in his nose. He has his arms crossed and is also wearing peasant clothes. The two are looking at each other with worry. They are talking about the knight; it is clear by the way that these two men talk to each other that they are good friends. The blond peasant hands the two pieces of cotton to the brown haired man so he can use them before checking on the knight, the brown haired man then walks towards the knight with the cotton now in his nose. The scene changes to one where we can see the brown haired man walking towards the knight. There is a horse standing by a tree to the right of the screen. The scene changes to where we can see the man checking the knight for a pulse. He then looks to the blonde man and says he is dead. The blonde haired man looks at him in disbelief. Another peasant then enters the scene by hitting the blonde haired man on the shoulder and stands beside him. This shows an act of friendship towards him. He has red hair and is smiling when he enters the scene, he enters telling the peasant good news about the knight. His facial expression changes to one of disgust as he realizes he can smell something unpleasant. Behind him we can see trees possibly leading to a forest. After being told that the knight is dead he looks at the blonde haired peasant with disbelief. The scene changes to one where the brown haired peasant is kneeling next to the dead knight. We can see the knights shield to the right of the scene, leaning against the tree. The scene changes back to the red haired and blonde haired peasants. The red haired ones expression is still in disbelief whereas the blonde one is looking at the red haired one with worry. The scene changes to the red haired peasant walking towards the knight but he stops in the middle of the knight and the blonde haired peasant, he looks at both of them in anger and disbelief and starts

shouting. The camera moves to the blonde haired peasant who throws his arms down to his sides and starts shouting back at his friend. As the brown haired peasant goes to find a priest for the dead knight the red haired one goes to the knight and starts shouting at the knight to wake up. He then begins to kick and punch the knight, the camera quickly moves to the blonde and brown haired men who look at him and shake their heads. This is when the blonde haired man turns around and sees something that makes his expression change to worry. He then draws the brown haired mans attention. This is when the scene changes and we see a jousting official in red robes riding towards them on a horse with jousting tents in the background. A lot of things happen in the first two minutes of this movie that are important to the rest of the movie.
