October 19, 2012 Dear Parents and Students, Its time to sign up for this years .

I hope that you will take part in this life changing experience! The dates of the trip are May 26-June 1, 2013. The trip is open to incoming freshmen (current 8th graders) through current juniors. I am ecstatic about the opportunity to work with Arizona Reservation Ministries, ARM for short, (www.azrez.org) on the San Carlos Apache Reservation outside of Globe, Arizona. Arizona Reservation Ministries exists to provide Gods ARMs around the Reservation. Currently serving on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in ways only God could orchestrate, those arms are providing a hug for children, shooting basketballs with youth, building homes, distributing clothing and food to impoverished families and sharing Gods hope through the Gospel with all ages. Established upon the principal found in Exodus 17 where Gods people need the assistance of others, ARM has chosen the servant position of Aaron, holding up the needs of our Apache brothers and sisters as the Lord leads. Those who partner with usfinancially, prayerfully, or physically, are likewise upholding those in Gods family who live in tremendous poverty (Hur). That leaves the Moses position: Native Christians are more than capable of representing Christ on their Reservation. With their limited funds, etc., we are simply called to hold up their ARMs. We are asking students to pay $350 in addition to fundraising. Fundraising is a pivotal part of the trip, so we are asking for even more parental involvement this year with fundraising. The application and $100 non-refundable deposit are due by Monday, November 12. Checks can be made out to SPC with HS Mission in the memo. Or the credit card kiosk in Fellowship Hall under Youth Mission. Late applications will not be accepted Turn in your application to Kat, the Youth Administrative Assistant at church. You can put it in her box (blue bin to the right of the front desk), drop it off at church during the week or mail it to the church. As a member of the trip, you will be required to participate in all fundraising activities as well as all other team building meetings. A list of fundraiser and meeting dates will be coming shortly. Please do not let cost be a deterrent. Scholarships are available; please talk to me for more information. Finances should not be an obstacle for your family.
