Gained speech and press release writing skills though classes in writing for PR, crisis relations and media relations among other classes taken. Submitted and received Marine Corps Scholarship each year in college by completing essays. Given presentations using PowerPoint, and Microsoft displaying computer understanding as well as clear communication skills. Regularly uses Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts to inspire new ideas in projects and maintain relationships across the country and globally. Obtained over five years of customer service through my positions at Dominos, Publix and serving. Able to asses intense situations, impressive in the moment and follow through with a decision while maintaining tact and poise. Multitasking is demonstrated through serving; o Maintaining awareness of each table your responsible for while taking orders, staying on top of hot food being served, knowing the menu, accommodating customers request and defusing problems while staying calm and personable. Second official day serving at Chilis was on Veterans Day with an extremely fast paced, constant crowd of people. Took advantage of team service to make up for not knowing the computer system yet. My partner and I decided to pull in our tips together and treat every table as both of our tables. Used my strengths with greeting tables, being charismatic, filling drinks while my partner took over the big orders with the computer. This plan kept both of us on top of our duties while still being able to give our tables the attention they deserved which resulted in high tips. While working at Publix, the week before Thanksgiving and Christmas entailed taking, and organizing hundreds of customer preorders and then packaging and disturbing those orders in an efficient manner which resulted in our most profitable holiday deal.
