The Giving Tree Starting the weekend of November 17th

Please consider sharing your blessings again this Christmas season with someone in need. Gift tags for those in need will be available on the Giving Tree in the Narthex November 17th. Please select a tag, purchase the item(s) listed, wrap your gift, attach the tag to the gift and place it under the Tree. Gifts must be placed under the Tree by 12 p.m. December 9th so that they may be delivered to the appropriate places by Christmas. Again this year we will be helping those at the Daybreak Shelter, Lambs Fold, Vilaseca Day Care Center and the Guardian Angel Home. As always, thank you for your generosity and supportyour gift may be the only gift someone at one of these organizations receives this Christmas.

ST. DENNIS FUNDRAISER SUCCESS CONTINUES Now Gas/Electric bills may be paid through Ambit. Literature for the Soul Book Club

Open to anyone age 16+ who wants to explore literary selections with others from St. Dennis. $2 per session or bring a snack to share. Our next meeting is November 18th in the Parish Office Stalzer Room from 6:30pm 8:30pm. Dear Family, I would like to bless you and wish each of you a Happy Thanksgiving. I as so thankful to God for all your support and love, especially during my time of surgery and recovery. I am thankful for the amazing and beautiful restoration of our church and your generosity to make that possible. I am thankful for your support of our Catholic school and supporting our special funds: the Pioneer Committee Campaign and most recently the Jubilation dinner dance auction. I am so thankful for the wonderful people like yourself who donate your time to volunteer and minister to so many in our parish. I am thankful for my dedicated and joyful staff: Sr. Joanne Vallero, Kathy Provancal, Lisa Smith, Laura Pfeiffer, Colleen Dombrowski, Kym Bruining, Venus Wozniak, Christen Morris, Michelle Pall and Patti Johnson. As we come near to the end of this liturgical year, we are reminded that the end is coming soon. Our Catechism reminds us: Since the Ascension Christ's coming in glory has been imminent, even though 'it is not for you to know times or seasons which the father has fixed by his own authority' (673). As we gather to worship this day, may we always be prepared for the coming of the Lord.
The Churchs love for the poor...is a part of her constant tradition (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 2444). The Collection for the Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) provides funding for groups that create lasting change and uplift the poor in the United States.
