Hymn of Praise
7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. LEAVE IT THERE
Verse 1 If the world from you withholds of its Silver and its gold, And you have To get along with meager fare, Just remember in His Word, How He feeds the little bird. Take your burden to the Lord And leave it there. Chorus Leave it there, leave it there, Leave it there, leave it there, Take your burden to the Lord And leave it there; If you trust And never doubt, He will surely Bring you out. Take your burden To the Lord and leave it there. Verse 2 If your body suffers pain And your health you cant regain, And your soul is almost sinking In despair, Jesus knows the pain You feel, He can save and He can heal Take your burden to the Lord And leave it there. Verse 3 When your enemies assail And your heart begins to fail, Dont forget that God in heaven Answers prayer; He will make A way for you and will lead You safely through, Take your burden to the Lord And leave it there. Verse 4 When your youthful days are gone And old age is stealing on, And your body bends beneath The weight of care, He will never Leave you then, Hell go with you To the end, Take your burden To the Lord and leave it there.

HYMN OF PRAISE

Unison Scriptures
7:30 a.m. MATTHEW 6:9-12 (NIV)
9

6:00 p.m. MATTHEW 6:9-12 (NRSV)

9

This, then, is how you should pray:

Pray then in this way:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11Give us today our daily bread. 12Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

___________________________ 11:00 a.m. MATTHEW 6:9-12 (The Message)

This is your Father you are dealing with, and he knows better than you what you need. With a God like this loving you, you can pray very simply. Like this: Our Father in heaven, Reveal who you are. Set the world right; Do whats best as above, so below. Keep us alive with three square meals. Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others. Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. Youre in charge! You can do anything you want! Youre ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one. 14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; 15 but if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

United Black Christians Litany

LEADER: PEOPLE: LEADER: PEOPLE: LEADER: PEOPLE: LEADER: PEOPLE: LEADER: PEOPLE: LEADER: PEOPLE: LEADER: O God, You call the worlds into being, creating us in Your own image, and setting before us the ways of life and death. May the members of United Black Christians praise You, O God. May all the people praise Your Holy Name. You seek, in holy love, to save all people from aimlessness and sin. God has blessed us. May all Christians everywhere know You, O God. You seek, in holy love, to save all people from aimlessness and sin.
UNITED BLACK CHRISTIANS LITANY

Almighty God, how are those who live in Your temple, always singing praise to You. You judge us by Your righteous will declared through prophets and apostles. One day in Your Temple is better than a thousand anywhere else. Through Jesus Christ, You have come to us, shared our common lot, reconciling the world to Yourself. You are our protector, redeemer, defender, and friend. You bestow upon us Your Holy Spirit, creating and renewing Your Church, binding in covenant faithful people the world over. You judge the people with justice and guide all the nation. You call us into Your Church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship, serve others, proclaim the Gospel in every place, resist the powers of evil, break bread together, and sit at the Welcome Table. Help us to speak for You, to strengthen our hearts, and to always lift up Your Holy Name. You have promised us forgiveness of sins, courage in the struggle for justice and peace, and Your eternal presence in trials and rejoicing. Blessing and honor, glory an power, love and unity be with us all. Amen.

2012 Trinity UCC Theme Walking, Talking and Living Our Faith, Ephesians 4 (NLT)
January Ephesians 4:1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. February Ephesians 4:2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each others faults because of your love. March Ephesians 4:3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. April Ephesians 4:4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. May Ephesians 4:5-6 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all. June Ephesians 4:7 However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ. July Ephesians 4:11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. August Ephesians 4:12 Their responsibility is to equip Gods people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. September Ephesians 4:13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of Gods Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. October Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We wont be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. November Ephesians 4:15-16 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. December Ephesians 31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
