of the top notch actors of Indian cinema but also producer and director too. Whatever Aamir does he does it with full passion and perfection that's why he earned title of Mr. Perfectionist. Aamir Khan - Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan - Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood He was born on 14th March 1965 as Aamir Hussain Khan to Muslim parents Tahir Hus sain and Zeenat Hussain in Mumbai's Holy Family Hospital, Bandra. Aamir Khan's zodiac sign is Pisces and he stands 5 feet and 5 inches. His father was a film p roducer and uncle Nassir Hussain was an actor, director and film producer. Recen tly he made his television debut as an anchor with his social issue based talk show Satyamev Jayte. Earlier Aamir Khan was married to Reena Dutta and has a son named Junaid and a d aughter, Ira from the first marriage. Later the couple acquired divorce and Aami r married Kiran rao On 28 December 2005. He and Kiran have a son named Aazad Rao Khan. Acting Career of Aamir Khan At the age of 8, Aamir Khan started his acting innings as child artist in uncle Nassir Hussain's 1973 film Yaadon Ki Baaraat and then he acted in film Madhosh i n 1974 which was also made by Nassir Hussain. After a long break of eleven years he made his acting debut as an adult actor in 1984 movie, Holi, directed by Ket an Mehta. In Holi, he was starred with acting legends such as Om Puri, Naseerudd in Shah, Shreeram Lagoo, Deepti Naval and along with debutant actor Ashutosh Gow ariker. Aamir Khan portrayed his first noticeable lead role in 1988's romantic drama fil m Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (QSQT) opposite actress Juhi Chawla in which she also p layed her first major role. QSQT was a commercial success and established Aamir Khan as a leading actor in Hindi film industry. It earned him title of chocolate hero and made him a youth icon. In 1989 he received his first National Award fo r Special Jury Award for critically acclaimed movie Raakh. In 1994, Aamir Khan shared screen with today's superstar Salman Khan in Rajkumar Santoshi directed film Andaz Apna Apna. Although this film was not a success at box office but gradually it became one of the most popular comedy movies of Bol lywood and still very popular. After this Aamir Khan started an unusual trend as mainstream Bollywood actor as he continued acting in just one or two films a ye ar. Seven times Aamir was nominated for Filmfare Awards but he won his first Fil mfare Best Actor Award for Dharmesh Darshan directed blockbuster movie Raja Hind ustani opposite Karishma Kapoor.
