Please consider donating a portion of your Barter Card credit to the support services MND Queensland provides to people living with Motor Neurone Disease. About 300 Queenslanders have MND and this number stays steady because as one person succumbs, another is diagnosed. The disease moves quickly, a person will lose the movement of their limbs, their ability to speak, swallow and eventually breathe; this all happens within 2-5 years. While all of this is happening, most people with MND will retain full cognitive ability. For each person affected we estimate that 14 members of their circle of family and friends are also affected, forever. For 29 years MND Queensland has helped families with information, referral, access clinics, local services and care support. We provide home visits for patients and programs for carers. We offer support to those who face tomorrow with active minds trapped in bodies that are progressively paralysed by MND. HANDS ACROSS THE WATER

Cameron Quin from Australian Machinery traders will be participating in the Big Ride from Bangkok to Khao Lak from the 15th of January to 23rd of January 2013.
