The excitement builds, the crowd grows silent, all await the results of the BANI Chili Cook Off winneror is that whiner when Chris finds she has met her match!!!!! Sure, last year I brought fish chili and it wasn't the biggest draw! How was I to know the gold fish would have trouble navigating around those beans? This year things are different, I've gotten my feet wet and now I'm packin the heat! You of course are welcome to enter a favorite recipe of your own, but time is running out!!!!! You need to let Jan or Chris know by November 2nd to secure your chance at immortality - well, at least briefly. I do of course wonder where chili got its name since its served hot. Hmmm. I may have landed on the perfect way to make my chili stand out from the crowd. Vichyssoise has nothing on my entry! But of course the French can't cook. The year is winding down and the Christmas party is just around the corner. I'll bring several copies of my wish list to the cook off so you have plenty of time to shop. Please send a current email address to Jan so we can update all our emails, we are trying to reach everyone via email to save on postage. Happy Thanksgiving!
