United States History

Instructor: Mrs McNerlin

Course Description: United States History is a class designed to provide an


overview of U.S. History rather than specific details. Current events are discussed
throughout the course and related to the past.

Class Requirements:
1. Each student is to come to class prepared (paper ,pencil, journal).
2. Each student is to do all daily assignments.
3. Each student is to obey all school and classroom rules.
4. Each student is to give 100% effort on all assignments regardless of ability.

Grading Policy:
All grades are based on daily assignments, journal entries, test, quizzes, class
participation and behavior.

Assignments not completed during class period should be completed at home and
may be handed in at the beginning of the class period the next day for full credit.
Late assignments may be subject to a loss of Points. If an assignment is more than
three days late, it will not be accepted unless prior arrangements have been made.

Assignments missed due to excused absences may be made up for full credit.
Students have two days to make up work for every excused day missed. It is the
student’s responsibility to find out what assignments he/she missed while out.

Grading Scale:
A= 90-100%
B= 80-89%
C= 70-79%
D= 60-69%
F= 59% and below
Freshman Science
Instructor: Mrs McNerlin

Course Description: LL Freshman Science is a class designed to provide an


overview of Life Science, including the human body systems and ecology, with an
emphasis on promoting an understanding of the interdependence of all living things
and their environment.

3. Each student is to obey all school and classroom rules.

overview of our systems government. Students examine the responsibilities of
citizens in American democracy and the individual rights guaranteed by the United
States Constitution.

4. Each student is to give 100% effort on all assignments regardless of ability.
