PREFACE
The technological advancement and communication media are playing very important roles in setting up the direction of thinking process of the ever growing population of the word. How ever the need of a genuinely correct flow of information with facts and figures with right attitude has become overly important to integrate and avoid mishaps and traumas faced by the human society these days. A proper understanding can only be reached on any subject by getting away from dogmatic view and through unbiased free communication with a clear intention to learn, understand, appreciate and not to over power other views by useless egoistic and agnostic debates. The title of this booklet it self explains that it is a brief commentary on the subject or topic of Who is Jesus in the light of the Quran and the Bible and his return or final coming to this world .The whole purpose is to bring the simple and pure facts in plain and simple language on surface and not dwell in wild and weird imagination to create further confusion in the mind of a common reader. This booklet is not meant to be argumentative or to bring out dramatic or metaphysical issues on the platform, which have only clouded the minds and have made the thinking process foggy, smoky and vision murky to see the clear light on the horizon. Without any prejudice the objective is to clear the misunderstanding created purposely between Muslim and Christian brothers, by so called scholars or religious clergies or politicians in their vested interest and bring the two major and most populated and prominent nations of the world referred in the Quran as People of the Books closer to each other. In Quran Chapter 21. Anbyaa (Prophets) itself where the last Prophet Muhammed (saw) is referred as the Mercy to all Creature verse 107, and Prophet Jesus (pbuh) is referred as the Sign for all people verse 91. And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peopleQuran
8

21/91 - Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. Say: What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah. Will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)? ( Quran 21/106 to 108) The Quran also underlines the closeness of relationship between Muslims and Christians : {And nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, We are Christians: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. And when they listen to the revelation received by the Messenger (Muhammed saw), thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognize the truth: they pray: Our Lord! We believe; write us down among the witnesses. What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our Lord to admit us to the company of the righteous? And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath, - their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good. But those who reject Faith and belie our Signs, - they shall be companions of Hell-fire. Quran 5/82 to 86} Those who like to think straight and are not biased or do not have any preconceived notion will find this booklet informative and interesting and hopefully they will be guided to the right path insha-Allah (GOD willing). May Allah (the one and only God), the creator, master and sustainer of the universe, the most merciful and benevolent be the judge; accept this humble and all such sincere efforts made in this direction and guide us towards correct understanding, to get in to the fold of universal brotherhood and peace to make this temporary world also worth living before we return to a permanent life or world hereafter.

EXPLANATIONS
Who is Allah? Allah refers to the private own name chosen by God in Quran. All HIS other names refer to HIS attributes Allah in the purest form therefore means: The One and Only God with no family or partner associated Where ever Allah is mentioned in writing it should be referred as God alone or only God who is self subsisting, absolute and eternal. HE begetteth not, nor is HE begotten and there is none like unto HIM. HE is the sole creator and sustainer of entire universe and of its creatures. What are the Quran and the Bible? The holy Quran is the book revealed to Muhammed, (saw) the final Prophet and Messenger of Allah (swt) This is similar to other divine revelations viz, holy Torah, the old Testament (Book revealed to Prophet Moses (pbuh) and Injeel or holy Bible or new Testament the book revealed to Prophet Jesus (pbuh). Quran therefore is the final Book or final most or last Testament from Allah (swt). This divine book is the only complete authentic book of Allah (swt) or source of guidance on the face of earth now which has been and always be protected by none else but Allah (swt) Himself , against any amalgamation or corruption up to the last or dooms day of this world This is a promise Allah (swt) has made to HIMSELF. {We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption or amalgamation)-Quran 15/9}. The portion of truth or divine revelation in all Books revealed to previous or earlier true Prophets or Messengers of God are endorsed and authenticated by Quran itself for its similarities. Any earlier revelation or verse in any of the divine Books which is contradictory to the last revelation of Allah (swt) i.e. the Quran is considered to be an amalgamation or man made additions by saints or priests or religious clergy or politician or historians at different
11

times. So, those need to be handled with utmost care. Hence, the Quran is the most updated record and final version of Allahs guidance or commandment to mankind and Jinn (a creature made of fire as compared to Human being made out of clay and water). { A.L.M. - This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah. - Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; - And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee , and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. - They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper. Quran 2/1 to 5}. {This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah. on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Books - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds. - Or do they say, "He ( Muhammed ) forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!" Quran 10/37-38}. The period between revelations of Bible to Quran is of about 610 years or a little more i.e. the period between the first appearances of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) to the last Prophet Muhammed (saw). Bible was revealed in same language as of Torah i.e. Hebrew the language Jesus (pbuh) and people around him spoke and understood most, so was Quran revealed in classical Arabic language Muhammed (saw) and people around him spoke and understood most, although the literary and phonetic value and in depth meaning of Quranic verses surpasses any literature of old or present time, obviously because it is a divine revelation. Who is Muhammed (saw)? Muhammed (saw) is the son of Hon. Abd-Allah bin Abdul-Mutallib his father (pbuh), and Hon. Amina his mother (pbuh). He was born in Makkah near the house of Allah (swt) Kaabah the house was originally built by Prophet Adam (pbuh) and reconstructed on the same footings by Prophet Ibrahim / Abraham (pbuh) and Prophet Ismail / Ishmael (pbuh) elder to his brother Prophet Ishaaque / Isaac (pbuh).
12

Prophet Muhammed (saw) and Prophet Jesus (pbuh) are from the same dynasty i.e. they have a common grand father as Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) Jesus (pbuh) is the descendant of Prophet Isaac (pbuh) and Prophet Muhammed (saw) is from the family lineage of Prophet Ismail, (pbuh) elder brother of Isaac. So, they are kin to each other and belong to the same family of most elevated and virtuous Prophets of Allah (swt). He and his close companions on the commandments of Allah (swt), after almost 13 years of his declaration as a Prophet of Allah and preaching of the revelations to him, migrated to city Madinah from Makkah having faced all kinds of fierce persecution and torture by enemies within the family or community and even outsiders. In Madinah therefore the first Islamic state was formed and after relentless efforts and struggle and crusade lodged against him and his followers by people of books and infidels for another ten years, he left this world having successfully conveyed the final code of life and established Allahs sovereignty. He was buried in Madinah where his tomb exists along with other remains of history. Muslims at large visit his tomb to show their love, admiration and deep respect to him. Muhammeds (saw) status is defined by Allah (swt) as the final Messenger or Prophet, a guide and mercy to the entire universe. His coming as the final seal of the Prophets to this world was fore told in almost all books and revelations of Allah (swt) and by all Prophets of Allah (swt) including Prophet Jesus (pbuh). All Prophets of Allah had entered in to a covenant with Allah (swt) to support and follow Prophet Muhammed (saw) on his appearance. Therefore this covenant of devotion for all times applies to the followers of all Prophets or Messengers as well i.e. to the entire human race or to any other living creature provided with wisdom. {Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you an apostle, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." If any turn back after this, they are perverted
13

transgressors. Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah? while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back. Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)." Quran 3/81 to 84}. Muhammed (saw) like any other Prophet or Messenger of Allah (swt) is held in very high esteem, a chosen one, a beloved one, is not a God himself but a true slave and obedient servant of Allah (swt). He is the best example to be followed as stated by Allah (swt). Being the final Prophet and Messenger he is the complete fulfillment and excellence of human being and there is no aspect of human life where reference can not be drawn out of his character to follow and resolute. The love and devotion to him are the most significant trait of any one who has faith in and love of Allah (swt). Prophecies of Coming of Muhammed (saw) by Jesus (pbuh): If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father and He shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever. (Bible, John 14-15/16) But when the comforter will come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me, and he also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. (Bible, John 15-26/27) I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the spirit of Truth will come, he will guide you into all truth, for he shall speak not of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine, and he shall show it unto you. (Bible, John 16-12/14)
14

The learned scholars in Islam from the very beginning have narrated that the person who is described by Jesus (pbuh) to come after him - in the above verse - does not comply or match with any other person but Prophet Muhammad (saw). In this case, the COMFORTER he mentioned is none other than Prophet Muhammad (saw) and his laws and way of life (Shariah) and Book (Holy Qur'an) are those that Jesus (pbuh) asked his followers to abide by. The person whom Jesus (A.S.) prophesized will come after him, is called Pargaleeta in the Bible. This word was deleted by later interpreters and translators and changed at times to Spirit of Truth and at other times, to Comforter and Holy Spirit. The original Greek word Pargaleeta meaning is one whom people praise The sense of the word, then, is applicable to the word Muhammad in Arabic, since Muhammed means the praised one. Various other religious books from Allah (swt) / God, also had similar prophecies of Muhammed (saw) coming which can be brought forward for interested ones in another booklet separately. What is Islam and the status of Prophets or Messengers in Islam? Islam: means Road to Peace and Submission to Allah (swt) Islam is a complete code of life and not just a few rituals. It started from Prophet Adam (pbuh) and this divine message or guidance was carried by all Prophets of Allah (swt) which were around 124,000 sent to different parts of the world at different times and environments. It was finally completed by Prophet Muhammed (saw) over 1400 years ago from today. So, there has been no difference in the basic message or guidance of Allah (swt) at any time. The noticeable differences in the basic concepts as it appears and propagated today are all because of man made rulings and amalgamation which is made out of different theology or philosophy in the divine law or commandments revealed. Concepts of Prophets and Messengers in Islam: They are chosen people of Allah (swt) to guide others according to the guideline revealed to them by Allah (swt). The messages they receive from
15

Allah (swt), they dont mix a word on their own but immediately apply and execute as per the will of Allah (swt) by using the wisdom bestowed upon them. Allah (swt) after creation of Adam and Eve (pbuh) has sent more than 124,000 Prophets + Messengers in this world till the last Prophet Muhammed (saw). These prophets came in different tribes and different countries of the world and they all had their own mission completed entrusted upon them by Allah (swt). The first man created, Adam (pbuh) was also a Prophet of Allah (swt) and at no time people in this world were/are left without Allahs guidance and HIS guides. That is why all Prophets of Allah are called Muslims which means those who submit to Allah (swt) with unshaken faith in HIM and without any hesitation or despondency carry out their mission. They are all linked to the same chain of spiritualism and revelations of God. Caution: Prophets and Messengers of Allah (swt) are special set of chosen people provided with exceptional wisdom by Allah (swt). They must not be compared or equated with any second person on the earth. They are the most respectable and dignified people in the eyes of Allah (swt) and they need to be respected and dealt with reverence and devotion. They and their true followers were/are the source of moral standard and ethical values of life. So, their words and practices should be pursued. They are source of spiritual inspiration to establish a link with Allah (swt). They are holy due to their submission to One GOD but they are not GOD themselves. Their qualities and attributes are GODs provision to them and they are not selfsustainers or physically ever lasting in the material world but their spiritualism due to their conduct and contact with GOD prevails over the societies.

QURANIC REVELATIONS
of Maryam (pbuh) - Mother of Jesus and Prophet Jesus (pbuh)
It may be interesting to note that among all the major religions in the world, Islam is the only non-Christian faith that recognizes the true status of Jesus. Within the pages of the Qur'an are distinct Islamic portrayal of Jesus. Three of its Surahs (chapters), Aale-Imran, Al-Maida and Mariam are so named because of their references to Jesus and his work. There are more than 100 verses spread across fifteen Surahs of the Qur'an which refer to Jesus and his family. A second source for the Islamic understanding of Jesus are the numerous Ahadith (traditions) which portray his teaching and the ultimate purpose of his first and second coming. There are also many references to Jesus in other Islamic literature. It has been explained in earlier passages and the more we will proceed, it will be revealing that Jesus (pbuh) has special significance in Islam and he is considered none else but a Prophet of Islam Let us examine what the final book of Allah (swt) or last Testament Quran says about the family of Jesus that is Al Imran (pbuh) and Marayam / Mary (pbuh) mother of Jesus and prophet Jesus (pbuh) himself. Family of Imran i.e. of Maryam (Mary) and Jesus - pbuh in Quranic verses: Quranic Surah or Chapters and Verses:

Summery : Mother of Mary (Maryam) when conceived her, she dedicated this child to Allah (swt) and when to her surprise she delivered a female child, she kept her words to Allah (swt), named her Maryam (Mary) pbuh, and prayed to Allah to protect her from all evils and satanic spell. Allah accepted her most graciously and made her grow in purity and beauty. Her uncle Prophet Zakariya (pbuh) was assigned as her care taker and each time he entered her chamber of prayer he found her supplied with sustenance and on his query she would reply that it is her Lord ie Allah (swt) who provides this to her and HE does so to any without any measure. In that chamber then Prophet Zakariyah (pbuh) also prayed to Allah (swt) to provide him a pure progeny and while he was still there an angel gave him the glad tiding of a son to be named as Yahyaa ( pbuh ) who would be noble, chaste, and among the righteous one Zakaryaah ( pbuh ) and his wife though were concerned as they had grown too old and barren to have a child Allah (swt) consoled them that nothing is impossible for Allah (swt) and so did happen. Angel also brought glad tiding to Maryam (Mary) pbuh, that she was chosen above the women of all nations so she shall prostrate to Allah (swt) and that she will conceive a son without any wedlock or touch of any man and be named as Jesus Christ who will be held in honor in this world and here after. Allah (swt) when decrees a plan HE but says TO BE and IT IS. Mary a chaste woman suffered a great deal by the most prominent people of Book at that time who were Jews but they had grown faithless and uttered against Mary a grave false charge which was refuted by none else but Jesus (pbuh) himself while he was still in cradle as a newly born baby. Status of Mariyam and Jesus (pbuh) in Quran (in reference to all above verses): * * * She was a pious and truthful lady of honor and a devotee to Allah (swt). She was chosen above women of all nations by Allah (swt). She was a chaste virgin mother and Jesus' birth was a miracle of Allah(swt).
18

Maryam (Mary) and Jesus (pbut) both were and still are miraculous signs of Allah (swt) for the whole world. Maryam (Mary) and her son Jesus (pbut) both were human beings and lived a life of a normal human being and ate food like any other person. None of them is son or daughter or wife of Allah (swt). Who so ever believe otherwise causes a great blasphemy against Allah (swt) and is a great sinner. Mary or Jesus (pbuh) was not GOD to be worshipped Jesus (pbuh) is no more than an apostle like any other apostle sent by GOD/Allah. Jesus son of Mary (pbut) is a Prophet of Allah (swt) like any other Prophet He is a righteous person, a dignified member of family of Prophets, a guide to the nation, a Book was revealed to him and Allahs messages were communicated or revealed to him. {HONORED in this life and in the hereafter and among those nearest to Allah (Quran 3:45): used also for others (Quran 33:69, 56:11, 83:21,28)}.

Allah (swt) sent peace on him at his miraculous birth, peace on the day he will die (after his return to this world) and on the day he will be raised up to life in the hereafter again (i.e. after dooms day). Jesus (pbuh) is a blessed one, kind hearted, kind to his mother, not over bearing or miserable. Jesus (pbuh) is a clear sign to the people, he was supported by a Holy Spirit-same like Allah endowed other prophets with gifts, degrees of honor and even spoke to one (or more) directly. Jesus (pbuh) was blessed with many miracles by Allah (swt) beside his miraculous birth He spoke in cradle as a small baby to repel those who uttered false charges against his mother and declared himself as an apostle of Allah (swt), made bird out of clay and breathe in to it, healed born blinds, cured lepers with his touch or by praying for them,
19

brought dead person to life again, and would declare what any one eats and what any one stored in house i.e. knowing the private and personal matters also. (Unfortunately people who did not believe in him traditionally called him an imposter and a magician same like all non believers did to true Prophets of God including Prophet Muhammed saw ). * Holy Book Injeel (Bible) was revealed to Jesus (pbuh) for the guidance of people he was given knowledge of Torah, the wisdom and law of Gospel and he is one who authenticated Torah that is the Book of Moses (pbuh) which was amalgamated in his time of his physical presence. Jesus (pbuh) is the word and spirit of Allah (swt) but he is no more than an apostle of Allah (swt) who need to be followed to submit or worship GOD/ Allah alone. {A WORD FROM ALLAH (Quran 3:39,45; 4:170). Word is not the Logos or the second person in Godhead. It is the creative command of Allah KON or Be (Quran 2:117, 3:47,59, 6:73, 16:40, 19:35, 36:82, 40:68). Words of Allah is used in (Quran 18:109, 8:7, 31:27) and others - A SPIRIT FROM ALLAH (Quran 4:171): same applies to other humans (Quran 15:29, 32:9, 38:72)}. * Jesus' (pbuh) birth without a father is a sign of Allahs miracle and it has a similitude with Adam (pbuh) who was born without even a mother which was a miracle of even a higher degree (Such miracles of GOD do not make HIS creature a GOD itself such events are signs of Allah (swt) for people to understand that HE is not subjugated to HIS own designed system but HE is all powerful, can make or break any system for the wisdom known to HIM only and controls the universe the way HE desires ). Jesus (pbuh) is a sign of last day or dooms day. {It is a general belief among muslims that Jesus will descend from the sky (where he was lifted up alive to protect him from the conspiracy of Jews of his time to assassinate or kill him at the cross) at a time close to dooms day to remove all confusions and chaotic situation created in religion and society. During his last presence in this world, he will struggle to establish peace, participates in the war to dislodge the wrong doers, breaks the
20

satanic spell and brings people together to live a life on common terms i.e. Islam, rehabilitates Quranic injunction as a follower of Muhammed (saw) to worship Allah i.e. GOD alone and establishes HIS ruling only in socioeconomic system changing it to a welfare state with justice done to individual without any prejudice and this way every one in the world will be filled up with Allahs bounties. Till such time that the world would go wrong again after many years of Jesus physical death, then, only the dooms day will come i.e. Yomul Qiyama in Quranic terms}. * Those who do not believe in Jesus (pbuh) as stated by Allah (swt) will be reprimanded and will be subjected to severe punishment in this world and here after and those who believe in him as desired by God will be fully rewarded. Jesus (pbuh) is not the son of GOD or GOD himself but he is the blessed one a Messenger and an Apostle of GOD and he was an obedient person or servant to GOD Those who take him as son of GOD or GOD HIMSELF are like infidels and those who have invented the concept of Trinity and follow this are also infidel On the day of judgment Jesus (pbuh) himself will do away with those who took him and his mother to be Godlike to be worshipped. {And behold! Allah will say: O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah. He will say: Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things. If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servant: If Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise.- Quran 5/116 to 118} * Jesus (pbuh) was not killed nor crucified but he was lifted up in the sky alive and physically In so far crucification is concerned all what
21

appeared to people was a deception Unbelievers plotted secretly against Jesus (pbuh) but Allah encountered them to fail in their plan as Allah is the best planner. This was another miracle by Allah (swt) for Jesus (pbuh). {That they said (in boast), We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah:- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:- Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;- And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;- Quran 4/117 to 119 - And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah. -- Behold! Allah said: O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. Quran 3/54}. * Jesus (pbuh) is a Messenger of Allah (swt) who was sent to the Children of Israel to attest the law, which was sent before him, and to make a few things lawful which were forbidden in old scriptures and correct and attest Torah, which was amalgamated. Jesus (pbuh) never declared himself as GOD or son of GOD and always invited people to worship one and only GOD. {It is Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight. Quran 3/51} And Allah (swt) took covenant from Prophet Jesus (pbuh) also like any other Prophets and asked him not to divulge from what was sent to him in line with earlier prophetic messages. Like most Prophets and Scriptures or divine Books revealed, Jesus (pbuh) also gave glad tiding of coming or advent of the last Prophet /
22

Messenger Muhammad (Ahmed in Arabic it carries the same meaning). {And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed. But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, this is evident sorcery Quran 61/6}. This may how ever be understood that glad tidings by Prophets are not given merely for information or for fun sake but they are important messages given to the followers to get associated and devoted to the New Comer for further guidance and commandment from GOD. The basic philosophy is to worship and submit to Allah (swt) only Prophets and Messengers are the media through which Allah (swt) has chosen to send guidance to mankind, so who ever Allah (swt) has chosen to be a Successor to correct or update the message need to be followed without any inhibition and disrespect to his predecessors as they are all linked to the same chain of Prophethood and each one had his own assignment on this earth to be completed in his life time. That is why all followers of Prophet Moses (pbuh) who called themselves Jews should have been honest devotees to Jesus (pbuh) once he arrived instead of plotting against him, similarly followers of Jesus (pbuh) should have been followers of the last Prophet Muhammed (saw) for the ultimate guidance of GOD but it has been an unfortunate event of human history that whenever a Prophet came from GOD he was rejected initially and faced heavy resistance till his patience, perseverance and persuasive struggle made sensible people realize about the Truth and they subsequently accepted the message he brought, converted and submitted to GOD. Hence, whole hearted submission to GOD is what is called Islam. Jesus (pbuh) in Hadith and Muslim Tradition: Although this booklet is only focusing to Quran and Bible, it would not be out of place to mention that Hadith is another source of knowledge on Islam The Hadith consists of eye witness and first hand records of what Prophet Muhammed (saw) said and did during his eminence or his physically visible life on this earth. There are many details about Jesus (pbuh) provided by
23

Prophet Muhammed (saw) in addition to Quran and narrated by his followers (disciples or companions) and it still continues to be discussed in Islamic traditions and its scholastic research work and scripts. Many people who were true followers of Moses (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) converted to Islam and took Prophet Muhammed as their final guide and mentor based on the prophecy of Moses (pbuh) in Torah and of Jesus (pbuh) in Bible about the advent of the last Prophet Muhammed (saw). As per the requirements of basic faith of Islam no one can be a Muslim until and unless he or she believes in all Prophets of GOD including Jesus (pbuh) and that is why a Muslim has a special reverence to Jesus (pbuh). All this could happen because of Prophet Muhammed (saw) under the guidance of Allah (swt) made it happen so .The last Messenger Muhammed (saw) did not come to divide people in religious taboos but to integrate and unify all in one brotherhood by submitting to one and only GOD and this is one of the most fundamental theme of Allahs deen, Islam, which was carried by all prophets including Jesus (pbuh) starting from the prophet Adam (pbuh) and completed by the last Prophet Muhammed (saw). {The Religion or Deen of Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent there from except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. Quran 3/19. 4 Do they seek for other than the Religion of Allah. - while all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back. Quran 3/83. 4 If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good). Quran 3/85. 4 O ye who believe! Enter into Islam wholeheartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy. Quran 2/208. 4 This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if
24

any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oftforgiving, Most Merciful. Quran 5/3. 4 Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying, - He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe. Quran 6/125. 4 Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against Allah, even as he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not those who do wrong. Their intention is to extinguish Allahs Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). Quran 7,8}.

Jesus' (pbuh) status in the Bible / the Gospel and similarities with the holy Quran
The main difference between Islam and Christianity in general lies about the divinity of Jesus (pbuh) whether he is GOD himself or he is Gods son or he is one of the Trinity Father, Son and the Holy Ghost or may be they are all ONE. Logically no Gospel, old or new testament or divine Book of any religion needs to be followed other than the latest divine Book Quran, which segregates the true scriptures with the fabricated one, authenticates the true word of GOD in earlier revelations and discards those which have been amalgamated. However, let us analyze what New Testament or Bible and Gospels have to revealed. There are five major grounds over which Jesus (pbuh) divinity is acclaimed: 1. What Christians at large say about Jesus (pbuh)? If we take the historical account of Jesus (pbuh) most of his associates or companions were Unitarians Christians who believed in oneness of GOD and followed the foot prints of Jesus (pbuh) as a Prophet of GOD. Some of the early Unitarians in Christianity were: St Barnabas who was a dynamic disciple of Jesus and he had recorded vivid details of Jesus but his preaching were systematically removed from the scene when Christianity was being politicized by St Paul with Roman emperor and that is after more than 250 years AD. There were many prominent preachers and bishops who followed the pure teachings of Jesus (pbuh) and had a great number of people following them, calling themselves Unitarian Christians They strongly criticized St Paul to politicize Christianity and bring platonic philosophy or injecting pagan religious doctrine in to Christianity They believed in apostle Jesus and his manhood
26

and kept GOD deity pure without any amalgamation They proclaimed the concept of Trinity an innovation and a matter of political convenience in Christianity grounded by St Paul who was a Jew persecuting the Christians but converted to Christianity having seen Jesus in a vision. A few prominent names of Unitarian Christians are: Iraneus (130-200 AD), Tertullian (160-220 AD), Origen (185-254 AD) Lucian (died in 312 AD ), Arius (250-336 AD), Micael Servetus (1511-1533) Lelio Fransesco Maria Sonzini (1526-1562), Milton (1608-1674) John Locke (1632-1704) ,Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) Theophilus Lindsey (1723-1808), Joseph Priestly (1733-1804) William Ellery Channing (1780-1842) They were St Paul and Pauline Church who wanted to put three parts of GOD on divine throne Pauline Bishops argued that Jesus was not only GOD but also Essence of GOD - This distinction roused opposition from all orthodox Christians and they said that Trinity or such a word or concept was not to be found in Bible this conflict created a gap between Christians Pauline church eventually politicized Christianity and compromised with Roman Emperor Constantine which resulted in accepting the dogma of Trinity as a fundamental doctrine of Christianity and declared the Roman Sunday to be the Christian Sabbath. Adopted the traditional birthday of the Sungod the 25 twenty fifth of December, as the birth day of Jesus Christ / Borrowed the emblem of the Sun-god, the Cross of light, to be the emblem of Christianity / And decided to incorporate all the ceremonies which were performed at the Sun-gods birthday celebrations in to their own ceremonies. Many have deified also but have insufficient ground for such a serious matter. Many witnesses did not share the notion of deification. Most of the statements are allegorical in this regard. Pauline heresy became Christian and actual Prophet Jesus (pbuh) is lost by Christians at large in the mist of his own MYTH. 2. Jesus (pbuh) claim of Divinity Did he? First Explanation: Spiritual, Language and Allegory- Examples: 1. The Way, The Truth - (John 14:6): applies to every prophet in his time.
27

2. I and the father are One - (John 10:30): oneness in purpose not in essence (John 17:11, 20-23). 3. Seeing him is like seeing the Father - (Jn 14:9): seeing means knowing, as GOD can not be seen (Exod. 33:20, Jn. 1:18, 5:37, 14:7). 4. Before Abraham I am - (John 8:58): All existed in the foreknowledge of Allah. 5. Accepted Worship: (Matt. 14:33): worship means also intense love (worship of money,.......). Jesus himself did worship God (Luke 5:16). 6. Was called Son of God: so was Adam (Luke 3:38), Ephraim (Jer. 31:9), Jacob (Exod. 4:22), David (II Sam.7:14), Solomon (I Chron. 22:10). More than one prophet was called first born (e.g. Abraham, Jacob, David ). See for Example Ps. 2:7. Only Son is not used literally in the Bible (Gen.22:2). Sons of God was also used (Gen.6:2, Deut.14:1, Hos.1:10). 7. Called God Father and Abba - Said also my father and your father (John 20:17). Others may call God ABBA (Rom. 8:15, Gal. 4:6). 8. Called Mesiah: Means anointed. So was David (Ps. 2:2), Cyrus (Isa. 45:1). 9. Called Savior: So was Jehoahaz (II Kings 13:5). Used in plural (Obad. Verse 21 and Nehem. 9:27). 10. Was called Lord: Term does not mean necessarily God. Used in the N.T. to mean teacher or master. 11. Was filled with Holy Spirit: So was John the Baptist (Lk. 1:15), also Barnabbas (Acts 11:24). 12. Said that his words will not pass away: He also said that whatever he said was not his, but the Fathers (Jn. 14:24). 13. Said that all authority was given to him: He who gave authority is Greater (i.e. His God).
28

14. Was called my Lord and my GOD - (Jn. 20:28): Could have been an expression of excitement or you are God - like Distinction between Lord and God is made in Icor. 8:6. 15. Jews tried to Stone him to blasphemy - (Jn. 10:29-33): Jews were to indict him by hook or by crook, regardless of what he said. They may have considered him a false Messiah. Jesus answer was revealing (Jn. 10:34). In Ps. 82:6, humans are called gods, allegorically, Moses was sent as God to the Pharaoh (Exod. 7:1). Second Explanation: Jesus (pbuh) always expressed his subordination to his GOD and Creator. Examples: 1. Did nothing on his own authority (Jn. 5:30, 14:31, Matt. 20:23). 2. Spoke not on his own authority (Jn. 14:10, 8:28-29). 3. Said that the Father is greater than him (Jn. 14:28). 4. Was Tempted - (Matt. 4:1-11):But God can not be tempted (James 1:13). 5. He denied knowledge of unseen - (Mk. 13:32, Matt. 24:36). 6. Was subject to change - (Lk. 2:21, 52): But GOD is Immutable. 7. Did not accept to be called God and deferred to God (Mk. 10:18). 8. Prayed to God (Mk. 14:32, Lk. 5:16). 9. Referred to himself as Prophet - (Lk. 13:33-34). Others also called him a prophet. (Lk. 7:16, 24:19, Jn. 6:14, Heb. 3:1). Referred to as a servant of God (Acts 3:13, 4:27, 30, Matt. 12:18). 10. Made a distinction between himself and Father (Matt. 23:8-10). 11. Referred to himself frequently as SON OF MAN (e.g. Matt. 8:20). In the book of Acts (2:22), he is described as a man approved of God. While he is called Son of God nearly 68 times, not once was he called GOD THE SON. The difference between the two expressions is like the difference between the Prophet Jesus of history and the CHRIST created in the image of the Church. 3. Jesus (pbuh) miracles confirmed his Divinity? a) He admitted that they were not by his own power (Jn. 5:30, 14:31).

29

b) All had parallels in the Old Testament - For example: 1. Born without a Father (Heb. 7:3). 2. Fed the Multitudes (II Kings 4:42-44). 3. Walked on Water : Similar to Moses (Exod. 14:22). 4. Healed the lepers and blinds : So did others (II Kings 5:14, 6:17, 20, Acts 3:7, 5:15-16). 5. Brought Dead to Life : So did others (I Kings 17:22, II Kings 4:34, 13:21, Ezek. 37:1-14). 6. Cast the Devil : Said others can too (Matt. 7:22, 12:27, Lk. 11:19). 7. Rose from the Dead : So did others (e.g. Ezek. 37:1-14). 8. Ascended to Heaven : So did other prophets (Gen. 5:24, Heb. 11:5, II Kings 2:11-12). This seems to be inconsistent with Jn. 3:13. 4. Salvation could it prove divinity? 1. Assumes Initial Perfection of Adam and Inheritance of Sin, which is inconsistent with Deut. 24:16, Ezek. 18:20 and Matt. 7:2. 2. Assumes Necessity of Blood shed for forgiveness: This is inconsistent with Hos. 6:6, Ps. 30:5, 51:15-23, Matt. 9:13. 3. Sacrifices by Israelites or by Abraham are irrelevant to the concept of the Crucified God. Who died on the Cross-? God never dies and the death of one man cannot atone for all mankind. Gods mercy and justice can be reconciled without bloodshed. He is Most Merciful and Forgiving. 5. Mystery and Experience is it a solid base? 1. How different from other religions or even cults? Experience alone is not an indicator of ultimate truth. 2. Why accept Mens interpretation if evidence is overwhelming that Jesus (pbuh) was a great yet finite human? Why change the Religion of Jesus into a Religion about Jesus? 3. Old Testament Warns against associating others with God in his divine attributes. - Jesus (pbuh) came initially to attest Old Testament so he could not have said things otherwise. Jesus (pbuh) confirmed the same and called the Father My GOD (Jn. 20:17).

Chapter - 5

CONCLUSION
There is no basis in the Old Testament for Trinity or "God-incarnate" and there is no conclusive un-contradicted statement by Jesus (pbuh) in the New Testament claiming to be God This Paulian Church theology or platonic philosophy has made Jesus (pbuh) a Myth similar to another Roman God instead of a living man like figure. Many Christians in early days and even in present time have the belief that GOD can not become man substantially and many refused to worship GOD as Father but the Almighty Ruler of the world. Christianity today is said to be based on revealed knowledge (a revealed knowledge is from GOD), but what is recorded really appears to be of knowledge deduced (deductive knowledge is always changing in light of fresh observations and new experiences) None of the Bible contains the message of Jesus intact and exactly as it was revealed to him. There is hardly any record of his code of behavior .The New Testament do not even contain eyewitness accounts of his saying and actions. These are written by people who derived their knowledge second hand. These records are not comprehensive. Every thing, which Jesus said and did, which has not been recorded, has been lost forever. Even if the details are taken to be some what accurate, it is significant to note that all the oldest surviving manuscripts of the new Testament from which all the present translations of the Bible derived, were written after the council of Nicea. The Codex Sinaiticus and the Codex Vaticanus date from the late fourth century and Codex Alexandrius from the fifth century. As a result of the council of Nicea, nearly three hundred other accounts of the life of Jesus, many of those eyewitness accounts, were systematically and purposely destroyed. T S Eliot wrote: Christianity is always adapting it self in to some thing which can be believed a step further by arguing that the whole philosophy of the Pauline Church is based on compromise by all means This double think approach has resulted in the continued absorption of the church in to the culture, and of the re-absorption of the culture in to the changing structure of the church thus allowing many people to return to Christianity. The question
31

is whether this Christianity can be rightly said to represent or even resemble, that which Jesus taught and lived. It is only through the last divine revelation (the Quran) can all confusions be removed and pure monotheism be restored. Islam emancipates mankind from all kinds of idol worship, superstition and myth and establishes a direct link with Allah (swt) / GOD A Creator of the universe cannot be equated with a created one. God is omnipotent .To symbolize GOD / Allah (swt) in human or any form is the gravest mistake man has caused under satanic spell Allah (swt) / GOD is all knowing, hearing and is present every where but HE has not provided the capacity to any human being to see HIM in his true or complete form in this world neither HE has chosen for HIMSELF to come down to earth in any physical form to just spend some time and observe things being here or go through sufferings of life to forgive the eternal sin of human being by living here and getting killed. It is obviously a fantasy of extremely childish order Those who were or would be righteous people in this world and have followed the foot prints of Prophets and Messengers of GOD will see Allah (swt) in HIS purest form in paradise hereafter as per a narration of Hadith from Prophet Muhammed (saw). {Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.-Quran 24 / 35 - (Lit is such a Light) in houses, which Allah hath permitted to be raised to honour; for the celebration, in them, of His name: In them is He glorified in the mornings and in the evenings, (again and again), Quran 24/36}. How can a finite being be equated with or could perceive in totality an infinite deity? How can a human being knowledge and wisdom be compared with the Creator and Provider / God or Allah?
32

{ Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory)-Quran 2/255. Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah. (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him. He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. Quran 59/22,23,24}. Prophets are special set of chosen people with exceptional wisdom provided by Allah (swt). So, they must not be compared or equated with any second person on the earth They are the most respectable and dignified people in the eyes of Allah (swt) and they need to be respected and dealt with reverence and devotion. They and their true followers are the sources of moral standard and ethical values of life. So, their words and practices should be pursued. They are the source of spiritual inspiration to establish a link with Allah (swt) They are Godly, due to their submission to One GOD but they are not GOD themselves. Their qualities and attributes are GODs provisions to them and they are not self-sustainers or physically ever lasting in this world but their spiritualism due to their conduct and contact with GOD prevails over the society. Miracles performed by many Prophets and Godly people are from Allah (swt) for special reasons and missions. Those events look miraculous till the time one understands the mechanisms or proved by science or until
33

and unless such a vision is provided by GOD to him / her Man with little knowledge or restricted knowledge can not perceive in his / her life time all what Allah (swt) has designed in the universe or nature and how many world(s) or system(s) HE makes and breaks every second. Therefore, performer of any miracle could not be elevated to the status of GOD. Mankind should not fabricate or erect any GOD or many gods, should not innovate new religion or religious ceremony and should only submit to Allah and HIS deen (religion / code of life / moral standards) in its purest form as per the true revelations made to the Prophets and Messengers. Inhibition, Resistance or Hesitation to submit whole heartedly to Allah (swt) is caused by environmental influence, family and peer pressure, materialistic or vested interest and egoistic attitude otherwise it is so simple to come in to the fold of Islam the purest form of Allahs deen on the face of earth now. {If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah., never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good) Quran 3/85}. Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) return to this earth is most keenly awaited by Muslims and Christians and when he will come obviously all myth created around him will be removed. He was first sent to testify Old Testament Torah for children of Israel and on his second coming he will carry the mission to establish Allahs last revelations Quranic rulings on the earth What is therefore stopping or holding our Christian brothers to follow Jesus (pbuh), a path what Jesus eventually has to follow himself and that is Islam.

CAUTION
Taking advantage of the details of the return of Jesus (pbuh) many cults within Muslim and in Christian community for name sake or in other religions have germinated in past and present. The individual heads of these cults have claimed themselves as Jesus incarnated or promised Messiah or even GOD incarnated or image of GOD but these are all imposters under satanic spell One has to be very careful with their evil design and motive. Such
34

individual and institutions are exploiting people to seek fame and have commercial or vested interest or have a hidden agenda God knows. {Say : I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, The Ruler of Mankind, The Allah (for judge) of Mankind,- From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil ), who withdraws (after his whisper),- (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,- Among Jinns and among men. Quran 114/1-5}. There is no doubt that an element of mysticism exists in Religion and in religious minded or Godly or holy people but this element has been purposely overly and wrongly mystified by satanic people who have made Religion as an industry or a business or of commercial interest and have exploited common masses to collect and hoard wealth mischievously by capitalizing on Myth created as well as by terrorizing people with their dogmatic views. The devil makes their worldly desire and lust grow and this causes them to innovate and invent new ceremonial religions by using inherent weaknesses, fear, lustful desires, wild or weird dreams and thoughts of the people. They over power peoples mind articulately selling their religion or platonic philosophy giving false promises. Hence, people fall in their prey. It is not difficult to visualize through the historical detail how true Prophets of GOD have spent their life selflessly serving a common man openly instead of closing themselves inside huge mansions, palaces, cathedrals, churches, synagogues, temples, aashrams, mosques and any other place of worship wearing crowns and necklaces made of gold, silver, jewelries, silk and expensive fashionably designed clothes, attending big conferences, organizing big seminars and talk shows on TV for self-propagation, franchising the cult, traveling in first class, staying in five star hotels, secretly keeping illicit relations with men and women. All these luxuries and comforts are enjoyed by so called saintly but satanic people on accounts of charity paid to the house of GOD by ordinary people to insure salvation hereafter or to get over with worldly problem and worries There are numerous God Fathers and Mafias in the play and religion suits them most because of peoples emotions, fear of unknown, ignorance etc. Left and right looting and plundering is going on under the cover pretending to be Saviors and Healers. What a mockery they have made out of GODs religion. Ask yourselves and you will find an answer. Have they taken themselves to be god / GOD? Are they
35

truly following Prophets like Jesus and Muhammed (pbuh) who lived a life of a standard or status even less than what a common man could afford financially despite of having all the choices to live lavishly and act like a king, but continued distributing all what they possessed or came on their way to the needy ones and resolving problems of the society by establishing virtuous moral standard and a system of social and economic justice thus providing equal opportunity to every one to prosper and enjoy the bounty of Allah, sharing the worries and sufferings of deprived ones and eventually left this world serving GOD and HIS creatures in total submission to HIM. (This is a topic which will be dealt in detail later in another book or booklet).

What should be our approach?

We all should simply submit to Allah (swt) i.e. the only GOD and seek HIS agreement only by following HIS guide lines and live a life the way HE desires us to live. We should over power our selfish desire and conceited motives, should not exploit any one for personal arrogance and should not get exploited or subjugated by any individual or group creating an imbalance in the society. {Prophet Muhammed (saw) said: Seek well for others what you seek for yourself}. Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence. An apostle (Muhammed) from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practice regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. Those who reject (Truth Muhammed / Quran), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. Their reward is with Allah. Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all
36

this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher. Quran 98/1 to 8. Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things. Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever). Quran 2/256, 257.

Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself / herself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition. Quran 39/9.

And those to whom knowledge has come see that the (Revelation) sentdown to thee (Muhammed) from thy Lord that is the Truth, and that it guides to the Path of the Exalted (in might), Worthy of all praise. Quran 34/6

Chapter - 6

Return of Jesus from the Sky to this Earth

Other than a few deviant Muslim and Christian communities people at large in these two religions believe in coming back of Jesus (pbuh). ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE Did Issa / Jesus (pbuh) Die? First we have to examine the subject whether Jesus (pbuh) died or not, because if he died, then, there is no question of coming back but if he did not, then, according to the law of Allah that every soul has to taste the death, he must die one day on this earth no matter how long this period is stretched. The story of the people of the Cave As-hab-ul-Kahf is a manifest example of it, who went in hiding and Allah made them sleep for over three hundred years after which they woke up to find that the world has totally changed and then they died. So, equally important is the belief that Jesus (pbuh) did not die. He was neither crucified nor killed but was lifted alive with soul and body to heavens by Allah (swt) as mentioned in Surat Al-Nisa Ayaat 157-158 Ascension of Jesus ( pbuh ) Alive by Allah :

That they said (in boast), We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah; - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not.- (157) Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise. (158).
38

Descent of Jesus ( pbuh ) on earth and death : In the same context in Aya 159 Surat Al-Nisa Allah (Subehanahu wa Taala) is mentioning that those (the Jews) who rejected his ministry and boasted of killing him and those (Christians) who are confused and uncertain about his fate will all recognize and believe in him before his death.

And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his [i.e., Jesuss] death; and on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them.(159) We know for sure that as of today the Jews and Christians (People of the Book) do not believe in the true nature of Jesus Christ and believe that he died on the Cross. All this has to come to an end and both the Jews and Christians alike are bound to believe in the true nature of Jesus Christ (pbuh) before his death. This will happen prior to Qiyama / dooms day, and is considered as one of the major signs of Qiyama. The Aya 61 in Sura Az-Zukhruf refers to it.

And indeed he (Jesus) shall be (a sign) for the knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): therefore be not in doubt about it, but follow Me: this is a Straight Path. (61). Ahadith ( Statement of Muhammed saw ) on this subject:

Ibn Shehab narrates from Saeed ibn Musyyeb that he heard Abu Huraira (RA) saying that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said, By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, surely (Jesus,) the son of Mary will soon descend amongst
39

you and will judge mankind justly (as a Just Ruler); he will break the Cross and kill the pigs and there will be no Jizya (i.e. taxation taken from non Muslims). Money will be so much in abundance that nobody will accept it, hence a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it. Abu Huraira added Check this out (by yourself), if you wish, and recite (this verse of the Holy Book), -- And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e. Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. And on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them. See Sura 4 Ayah 159 (Reported by Bukhari) The same Hadith is also reported by Imam Muslim with several chains of narrators.

Ibn Shehab narrated that Nafe the freed slave of abi Qatada Al-Ansari informed me that Abu Huraira (RA) Said that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said How (awesome) would be your situation when the son of Mary will descend amongst you and there will be an Imam from amongst you? Reported by Bukhari and Muslim.

Ibn Juraij said that Abu Zubair informed me that he heard Jabir Ibn 'Abdullah (RA) saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (May peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) say: A section of my people will not cease fighting for the Truth and will prevail till the Day of Resurrection. He (further) said: Jesus son of Mary would then descend and their (Muslims) commander would invite him to come and lead them in prayer, but he would say: No, some amongst you are commanders over some (amongst you). This is the honor from Allah for this Ummah (Reported by Muslim)

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace be upon him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognize him: a man of medium height, reddish white (complexion), wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. During his time, Allah will perish, all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Dajjal and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him. (Reported by Abu Daud) There are plenty of very authentic Ahadith on this subject and one very elaborated Hadith is quoted here under in Sahih Muslim which mentions in detail the coming of Jesus (pbuh) and the events to follow after his coming which are all major signs of the Qiyama / dooms day approaching .. An-Nawwas b. Sam'an (ra) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) made a mention of the Dajjal one day in the morning. He sometimes described him to be insignificant and sometimes described (his turmoil) as very significant and we felt as if he were in the cluster of the datepalm trees. When we went to him (the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in the evening and he read (the signs of fear) in our faces, he said: What is the matter with you? We said: Allah's Messenger, you made a mention of the Dajjal in the morning (sometimes describing him) to be insignificant and sometimes very important, until we began to think as if he were present in some (near) part of the cluster of the date palm trees. Thereupon he said: I harbor fear in regard to you in so many other things besides the Dajjal. If he comes forth while I am among you, I shall contend with him on your behalf, but if he comes forth while I am not amongst you, a man must contend on his own behalf and Allah would take care of every Muslim on my behalf (and safeguard

him against his evil). He (Dajjal) would be a young man with twisted, contracted hair, and a blind eye. I compare him to 'Abd-ul-'Uzza b. Qatan. He who amongst you would survive to see him should recite over him the opening verses of Sura Kahf (xviii.). He would appear on the way between Syria and Iraq and would spread mischief right and left. O servant of Allah! Adhere (to the path of Truth). We said: Allah's Messenger, how long would he stay on the earth? He said, for forty days, one day like a year and one day like a month and one day like a week and the rest of the days would be like your days. We said: Allah's Messenger, would one day's prayer suffice for the prayers of day equal to one year? There upon he said: No, but you must make an estimate of time (and then observe prayer). We said: Allah's Messenger, how quickly would he walk upon the earth? Thereupon he said: Like cloud driven by the wind. He would come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion) and they would affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He would then give command to the sky and there would be rainfall upon the earth and it would grow crops. Then in the evening, their posturing animals would come to them with their humps very high and their udders full of milk and their flanks stretched. He would then come to another people and invite them. But they would reject him and he would go away from them and there would be drought for them and nothing would be left with them in the form of wealth. He would then walk through the waste land and say to it: Bring forth your treasures, and the treasures would come out and collect (themselves) before him like the swarm of bees. He would then call a person brimming with youth and strike him with the sword and cut him into two pieces and (make these pieces lie at a distance which is generally) between the archer and his target. He would then call (that young man) and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming (with happiness) and it would at this very time that Allah would send Christ, son of Mary, and he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When he would lower his head, there would fall beads of perspiration from his head, and when he would raise it up, beads like pearls would scatter from it. Every non-believer who would smell the odor of him self would die and his breath would reach as far as he would be able to see. He would then search for him (Dajjal) until he would catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd and would kill him. Then, the people whom Allah had protected would come to Jesus, son of Mary, and he would wipe their faces and would inform them of their ranks in Paradise
42

and it would be under such conditions that Allah would reveal to Jesus these words: I have brought forth from amongst My servants such people against whom none would be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur, and then Allah would send Gog and Magog and they would swarm down from every slope. The first of them would pass the lake of Tibering and drink out of it. And when the last of them would pass, he would say: There was once water there. Jesus and his companions would then be besieged here (at Tur, and they would be so much hard pressed) that the head of the ox would be dearer to them than one hundred dinars and Allah's Apostle, Jesus, and his companions would supplicate to Allah, Who would send to them (i.e. to Gog and Magog) insects which would attack their necks and in the morning they would perish like one single person (all at once). Allah's Apostle, Jesus, and his companions would then come down to the earth and they would not find in on the earth as much space as a single span which is not filled with their putrefaction and stench. Allah's Apostle, Jesus, and his companions would then again beseech Allah, Who would send birds whose necks would be like those of Bactrian camels and they would carry them and throw them where God would will. Then Allah would send rain which no house of clay or (the tent of) camels' hairs would keep out and it would wash away the earth until it could appear to be a mirror. Then the earth would be told to bring forth its fruit and restore its blessing and, as a result thereof, there would grow (such a big) pomegranate that a group of persons would be able to eat that, and seek shelter under its skin and milk cow would give so much milk that the whole party would be able to drink it. And the milk camel would give such (a large quantity of milk) that the whole tribe would be able to drink out of that and the milk sheep would give so much milk that the whole family would be able to drink out of that. While they are in this situation, Allah would then send a pleasant wind which would soothe (people) even under their armpits, and would take the life of every Muslim and only the wicked would survive who would commit adultery like asses and the Last Hour would come to them. Reported by Imam Muslim in his Sahih under the title Kitab Al-Fitan wa Ashrat As-Sa'ah (Book Pertaining to The Turmoil and Portents of The Last Hour) Additional Hadith sayings of Muhammed (saw) : This hadith mentions about the death of Jesus (pbuh) after his descend.

He will destroy the Dajjal and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him. - (Reported by Abu Daud). Hence, Muslims believe that Jesus (pbuh) was raised to heaven alive and physically. According to statement / Hadith of Prophet Muhammed, Jesus (pbuh) is on the second heaven / sky and Muhamed (saw) met him there during the Meraj (Ascension to skies), He found Jesus (pbuh) of medium stature, reddish white. His body was so clean, that it appeared as if he had just taken a bath and in another Hadith Prophet Muhammed (saw) told the Jews that, Jesus (pbuh) is not dead, he will surely return to you much before Qiyamat (towards the end of this world). Jesus (pbuh) physical Features : In one of the sayings of Prohet Muhammed (saw) describes that Jesus (pbuh) that when he will come again will resemble one of his companion Mr Urwa bin Masoodi (R.A.) Jesus (pbuh) will be of average height and reddish mixed white in color. His hairs are long spread to the shoulders, straight, neat and shining as after a bath. On bending his head, it will appear as if pearls are falling from his hairs. He will have an armor on his body. He will be wearing two pieces of clothes light yellow in color. Jesus (pbuh) Marriage, Death and Deputies : After his descension on earth, Jesus (pbuh) will marry. He will have children, and he will remain on earth 19 years after marriage. He will pass away and Muslims will pray on him and bury him next to Muhammed (saw) grave (reported -Tirmidhi)

CHRISTIANS PERSPECTIVE
Jesus (pbuh) said in the Bible, And a little while and you shall not see me; and again a little while, you shall see me because I go to the Father. (Bible, John 16:16) Christians use a range of names for this concept of Jesus Christ's return, drawing on a range of Biblical images. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia article on General Judgment: In the New Testament the second Parousia, or coming of Christ as Judge of the world, is an oft-repeated doctrine. The Saviour Himself not only foretells the event but graphically portrays its circumstances (Matthew 24:27 sqq. [Olivet discourse]; 25:31 sqq. [Judgment of the Nations]). The Apostles give a most prominent place to this doctrine in their preaching (Acts 10:42,17:31) and writings (Romans 2:5-16, 14:10; 1 Cor. 4:5; 2 Cor. 5:10; 2 Tim. 4:1; 2 Thess. 1:5; James 5:7). Besides the name Parusia (parousia), or Advent (1 Cor. 15:23; 2 Thess. 2:1-9), the second coming is also called Epiphany, epiphaneia, or Appearance (2Thess 2:8; 1 Tim. 6:14; 2 Tim. 4:1; Titus 2:13), and Apocalypse (apokalypsis), or Revelation (2 Thess. 2:7; 1 Peter 4:13). The time of his return is spoken of as "that Day" (2 Tim. 4:8), "the day of the Lord" (1 Thess. 5:2), "the day of Christ" (Philemon 1:6), "the day of the Son of Man" (Luke 17:30), "the last day" (John 6:39-40). The phrase Second Coming is not used in the Bible. It comes from the life or incarnation of Jesus of Nazareth as being his first coming to earth. Some Christians refer to the Second Coming as the last coming because of scripture referring to him as being the First and the Last, The Beginning and End, The Alpha to Omega. [1] and others do not define it by number, highlighting Christ's coming as an ongoing process. The Parousia is the term used in the Bible, see Strong's G3952 for details, which includes the Thayer's Lexicon definition: In the N.T. especially of the advent, i.e., the future, visible, return from heaven of Jesus, the Messiah, to raise the dead, hold the last judgment, and set up formally and gloriously the kingdom of God. According to the Bauer lexicon: of Christ, and nearly always of his Messianic Advent in glory to judge the world at the end of this age.

Date Setting / Predictions by a few non-muslims which can not be authenticated : Date of the Second Coming Author Notes Emanuel Swedenborg witnessed the Last Judgment in 1757 as one of many events recounted in his works resulting from visions of Jesus Christ returned. He tells of almost daily interaction with Christ over the course of almost 30 years. His return is not in the flesh, but in His Holy Spirit. "Neither shall they see here or see there, for behold, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:20). The fact that this failed to happen the way people were expecting was later referred to as the Great Disappointment. Some Millerites continued to set dates; others founded the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Advent Christian Church, which continued to expect the Second Coming but no longer set dates for it (Members of the Bah' Faith believe that Christ did return on May 23 1844 as the Bb (the Gate), the forerunner of Bah'u'llh (Glory of God)). Russell was the first person to successfully publicize to the world discussion about the Parousia. He taught that the invisible Parousia of Christ began in 1874 while stating that the sudden increase in knowledge, travel and worldwide inventions was directly related to this event. The Ahmadiyya community believe the prophecies about the second coming of Jesus were fulfilled by the advent of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who established Ahmadiyya in 1889.

Jehovah's Witnesses

The interpretation of the Second Coming is important in the doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses, as these hold that it occurred in 1914, and instead of an apocalyptic Second Coming it is to be interpreted as an unseen presence, and the visible events of the final times will occur at a later date. The followers of Reverend Sun Myung Moon consider Rev. Moon to be the Lord of the Second Advent called by Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday at the age of 15 on a Korean Mountainside. Steiner described the physical incarnation of Christ as a unique event, but predicted that Christ would re-appear in the etheric, or lowest spiritual, plane beginning in the 1930s. This would manifest in various ways: as a new spiritual approach to community life and between individuals; in more and more individuals discovering fully conscious access to the etheric plane (clairvoyance); and in Christ's appearance to groups of seekers gathered together. Armstrong, Pastor-General of the Radio Church of God, and then the Worldwide Church of God, felt the return of Jesus Christ might be in 1975. Of particular note was the book 1975 in Prophecy! written by Armstrong and published by the Radio Church of God in 1956. Though, never explicitly stating a date in the booklet, the title led people to believe the date was the second coming. Maupin, a pastor in Tucson, Arizona, wrote a book predicting the date of the Second Coming. His congregation sold all their belongings and went to a hilltop on that day to await the event.

Harold Camping

Harold Camping, WFME radio Bible founder and teacher, published a book, 1994, a prediction of Christ's return for that year. Fundamentalist preacher Jerry Falwell predicted in 1999 that the Second Coming would probably be within 10 years. Nostradamus predicted that from the sky will come a great King of Terror in 1999 This was interpreted by some as a prophecy about the second coming of Jesus. When this didn't occur, some of his followers and those of Edgar Cayce claimed that Jesus was conceived in 1998, born in 1999, and is currently living on Earth as a reincarnated person. Paul Sides predicted that September 13, 2007 marks the end of 7 years of wars and rumors of war that erupted when The Oslo Accords were annulled. Then he predicts a final 7 year tribulation period that culminates in a war over the Holy Land that brings back the Messiah. Televangelist Jack Van Impe has, over the years, predicted many specific years and dates for the second coming of Jesus, but has continued to move his prediction later. Many of these dates have already passed, and he recently pointed to 2012 as a possible date for the second coming. Van Impe no longer claims to know the exact date of the Second Coming, but quotes verses which imply that mankind should know when the second coming is near.

Joseph Nathan Smith

The group at www.2034 AD.com has documented the discovery of the year for the second coming of Jesus in the Bible. (Joseph Nathan Smith, Rest Unto The Land, ISBN 978-0-6151-6189-1, 2007, USA) Master Beinsa Douno's prediction for the Second Appearance of Christ: Christ Impulse will gradually penetrate into the human being and will take over guidance during the further development of the humankind (sic.). We are still in the beginning of all this now. (Master Beinsa Douno, The Master, The Life of the Sixth Race', ISBN 954-744-050-0, 1900-1946, Society Byalo Bratstvo - Bulgaria) The Rastafari movement believes Haile Selassie is the second coming (although he himself did not encourage this belief). He embodied this when he became Emperor of Ethiopia, but is also expected to return a second time to initiate the apocalyptic day of judgment. Haile Selassie, also called Jah Ras Tafari, is often considered to be alive by members of the Rastafari movement.

OTHER CLAIMS (HOAX)

q Emanuel Swedenborg and those in the New Church believe Jesus is making his second coming by revealing Himself in the spiritual meaning of the Bible. They believe that the Last Judgment was commenced in the beginning of the year 1757, and was fully accomplished at the end of that year. This Judgement on the Christian church, which took place in the spiritual world, marked the beginning of Christ's second coming. Last Judgment passage number 45 q Bah'u'llh claimed to be the Return of Christ. Followers of the Bah' Faith believe that the fulfillment of the prophecies of the second coming of Jesus, as well as the prophecies of the 5th Buddha Maitreya and many other religious prophecies, were begun by the Bb in 1844 and then by Bah'u'llh. They commonly compare the fulfillment of Christian prophecies to Jesus' fulfillment of Jewish prophecies, where in both cases people were expecting the literal fulfillment of apocalyptic statements. q Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, A 19th century Islamic figure from India, who claimed to be the second coming of and likeness of Jesus, the promised Messiah of the end times, as well as being the promised Mahdi, being the first person in Islamic history to have claimed to be both. He preached the supremacy of Islam and promoted the spread of Islam through peaceful means, writing over eighty books and his vast oral output, he gathered thousands of followers within his lifetime and founded the Ahmadiyya community which is today guided by his successors (referred to as Caliphs).

Signs and Portents in the holy Quran / Islamic Sources and the Bible / Christian sources
Many portents revealed in the Qur'an and the Prophetic hadiths, as well as various statements made by Islamic scholars, indicate that Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) return is drawing nigh. In addition, the Bible contains information about the period before Doomsday and Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) second coming. All of the events related in these sources indicate this blessed event's nearness.
