Making a welcome return this Christmas is the popular primetime series in which couples sign over to celebrities total control of their wedding arrangements. The past two series have seen some unusual and surprising events, often a far cry from the bride and grooms original conception of their big day. So how will the latest three unsuspecting couples react to showbiz razzamatazz, a fusion of Ibiza glamour and vintage Great Gatsby style, and the full Essex treatment? There is one huge catch in Celebrity Wedding Planner. The couple do not know the identity of the celebrities who will be planning their wedding until it is too late for them to back out! Each week the celebrity wedding planners have just three weeks and 12,000 to create a dream wedding for one lucky couple. This week, two of Walfords finest John Partridge (aka EastEnders Christian Clarke) and Nina Wadia (aka Zainab Masood) plan the big day for Jade and George from Kent. The 25-year-old bride-to-be dreams of a stylish black-and-white themed wedding to 28-year-old carpenter George, but Nina and John have something rather different in mind. In true soap-opera style, they set about planning a glitzy event. With Johns musical-theatre roots (he toured with Cats) and Ninas comedy background in shows like Goodness Gracious Me, the pair are fully geared up for a showbiz shindig to remember. But will Jade and George be grateful or gutted with what the EastEnders stars have in store for them? John and Nina are responsible for every aspect of their wedding day. From the dress, hair and make-up to the venue, transport, rings, flowers and music, there is a lot to organise and all their decisions will be final. But in the end, this is Jade and Georges big day. Lets hope they like disco balls, Indian drummers, a horse and carriage, a flashing dance floor and a superstar DJ
