Dignity Health is devoted to serving the changing needs of Kern County, which is why we continue to expand and improve our services and facilities, both inside and outside our hospital walls. This year, Memorial Hospital opened the areas only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Lauren Small Childrens Medical Center and welcomed patients and visitors through the new Einstein Pavilion. Mercy Southwest unveiled its stunning and unique vertical garden, one of only a handful in the state, and expanded its Emergency Room, adding 8 state-of-art private patient rooms. At Mercy Downtown, the new Pavilion Garden takes center stage located just off the hospitals lobby. As Kerns largest healthcare provider, we are committed to a healthier community, offering a growing list of wellness and preventive programs, screenings and events. Dignity Health proudly partners with many of our local sports teams such as the JAM, Condors and CSUB athletics to create local programs designed to decrease childhood obesity, encourage physical activity and support those committed to living happier, healthier lives.
