Anish Kapoor
Anish Kapoor was born in Bombay, India, where he taught at the prestigious Doon School in Dehra Dun. In 1972 he immigrated to England, where he still lives. Anish Kapoor studied successively at the Hornsey College of Art and the Chelsea School of Art Design. He gained worldwide fame during the Venice Biennale of 1990. Today he works in London but visits India frequently. His work is both western and oriental culture influenced. Andrea Mantegna, Joseph Beuys, Barnett Newman and Yves Klein are sources of inspiration for him.

This is one of his creations named Tall Tree and the eye, the name is because it expresses eyes in the form of a tree.

Ai Weiwei
Ai Weiwei is a Chinese conceptual artist, political activist and philosopher. He is versatile and is also active in other art forms such as architecture, photography and film. Ai connects the traditional Chinese culture with his personal visual language. He is known for his criticism of the social and cultural changes in his country.

This sculpture is called forever because it proposes bikes that will always move.

Zaha Hadid
Zaha Hadid or recently Lady Hadid is a British architect of Iraqi descent. Her designs are in the deconstructivist style. A sensual line of her designs made the architect's personal signature; in 2004 she won the first woman the Pritzker Prize.

Over here you can see the highway and the port of Antwerp, it portraits Antwerp because of its harbor and bridge.

Jenny Holzer
Holzer was born in Gallipolis, Ohio. Originally aspiring to become an abstract painter, Holzer is mostly known for her large-scale public displays that include billboard advertisements, projections on buildings and other architectural structures, as well as illuminated electronic displays. The main focus of her work is the use of words and ideas in public space. Originally utilizing street posters, LED signs became her most visible medium, though her diverse practice incorporates a wide array of media including bronze plaques, painted signs, stone benches and footstools, stickers, T-shirts, condoms, paintings, photographs, sound, video and light projection.

As you mayve read, Jenny Holzer likes to do art by using light projection as you can see on that building.

Oliviero Toscani
Oliviero Toscani is an Italian photographer, Toscani was known for his designs for the advertising campaigns of Benetton in the 80s. Regularly knew his work controversial features, such as the photo of David Kirby dying of AIDS in 1990, that the reality of AIDS worldwide on the map and to stop racism all over the world.

As you can see in this picture, you see 2 kids, with 2 different skin colors, they seem friendly to each other, and that they can get along well.

Jeff Koons
Jeff Koons is an American artist whose work is dominated by the themes of banality and seduction. His work is considered postmodern, as camp or simply as kitsch. Starting from 1981, Koons worked on his Equilibrium Tanks: aquariums containing motionless floating basketballs are. In order to develop the technology, which is necessary to achieve this effect, he corresponded for years with a large number of scientists.

This is the famous equilibrium sculpture made by Jeff Koons, you see basketballs that float motionless without gravity.

Guerrilla Girls
Guerrilla Girls are an anonymous group of feminists devoted to fighting against sexism within the visual fine art world internationally. Started in New York City in 1985 to protest gender and racial inequality in the art world, members are known for the gorilla masks they wear to keep their anonymity.

Banksy
Banksy started as a graffiti artist. Later he always makes more use of templates so it would take less time to finish the job. Banksy himself claims that he has switched to working with templates while under a garbage truck because the police hid him in the heels.

This is Banksys work, he was a Graffiti Artist with one of his quotes If Graffiti Changed Anything, It would be Illegal.

Rem Koolhaas
Rem Koolhaas is a Dutch architect who was born on November 17, 1944 in our home town Rotterdam.

When building architect Koolhaas broke through internationally in 1992 with the construction of the Kunsthal in Rotterdam. Other designs in the Netherlands realized that the office in those early years were profiled Dutch Dance Theatre in The Hague and Rotterdam Bus Terminal (demolished in 2004). Multiple commands for the city hall in The Hague (1986) and the Dutch Architecture Institute in Rotterdam (1988), went despite praising jury reports and petitions from the architectural world not to Koolhaas. From the 90, the agency is particularly active internationally.

One of these examples is CCTV building in China. The building is the new headquarters of the Chinese state, which most people immediately association with the communist and autocratic Chinese state. Because we know that this form of government is not good, it is the general opinion that Rem Koolhaas would not have to design a state building.

Damien Hirst
Damien Hirst is a British artist. He is one of the most important members of a group who later called Young British Artists (YBA) has become known. His breakthrough came in 1988 during an exhibition called Freeze in an empty London Port property. This group became known by the purchases of British art collector Charles Saatchi. His most famous works are animals (including a tiger shark, sheep and a cow) in an aquarium are preserved in formaldehyde.

This can describe what kind of work he does, creativity you see a skeleton with sprinkles that can mean something very deep.

Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino is an American film director. His most famous movies are Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), the two-part Kill Bill (2003/2004), Death Proof (2007) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). He has also produced movies, scenarios and written as (film) actor occurred. He won an Oscar for the screenplay of Pulp Fiction.
