    Case Study Guideline - 20%

    Case Study 10%

    1. This is a group work.


    2. Do a case study. 3. The topics for the case study are as the examples stated in the list below. You are also encouraged to come out with your own topic: Suicide, homosexuality, alcoholism, animals right, gay marriage, drugs abuse, smoking, pornography, child abuse, divorce, sexual harassment, child prostitution, pre-marital sex, discrimination, and other moral issues, mat rempit, dumping babies, cloning, incest. 4. The case study report should be in the following format (follow Appendix 1 for writing guidelines): A. Cover page B. Table of Content C. Introduction information about the topic chosen D. Objectives/ Rationale - for choosing that particular topic. E. Discussion of the topic chosen. F. Conclusion / Moral perspective Your point of view/ Suggestions/ Recommendations 5. Evaluation will be based on the following criteria: Content (clarity/understanding of issues) Generally, content must include: definition, moral perspectives (theories and religious perspectives), and conclusion. The rest of the content is up to the groups decision. You must provide references for every important point, statistics etc. Creativity Material organization pictures /slides Presentation 10% Presentation in PowerPoint / Flash slides : 10% You are required to share the information that you have gained on the case study with your friends. Your sharing will start immediately in Week 8 (the schedule will be determined). Submission of the case study report is on the 10 Dec 2012 Appendix 1 Writing Guidelines 1. Cover Page must write: a) Course code and course title b) Case Study Title c) Full name and ID no., d) Class section e) Lecturers name

    f) Date of submission. 2. Type your report using 12-point font size, with 1.5 spacing between
    lines/sentences. 3. Provide page numbering. 4. The total report should consist of 15 pages excluding the cover page and the contents page. 5. Use A4 paper. 6. Your work will be immediately rejected if you are caught plagiarizing. 7. Please submit the assignment on the date given.
