Sponsorship Opportunity: 2013 Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve Celebration

Tallahassee, Fla. The Downtown Business Association and the Downtown Improvement Authority invites businesses and individuals from around the Big Bend to become founding sponsors for the inaugural 2013 Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve Celebration to be held on Monday, December 31, 2012, in Kleman Plaza. The celebration, which will feature performances from Sister Hazel and Tom & the Cats and the Ameris Bank fireworks show, is free and open to the public. This will be the inaugural Downtown Tallahassee New Years Eve event that we hope the Big Bend community can enjoy for years to come, said Curt Reilly, president of the Downtown Business Association. While we already have some great sponsors lined up, we are still in need of additional sponsors to make this event a night to remember. We are encouraging the community and surrounding areas to get involved and sponsor our local New Years Eve celebration, said Al Pasini, executive director of the Downtown Improvement Authority. We are offering some great opportunities for our local businesses and residents to position themselves as a supporter of this iconic event and promote the economic growth for the Big Bend. In addition to the feature performances and fireworks show, Tallahassee Radio Personality Big Woody Hayes will be hosting the New Years Eve celebration, which will also have a VIP pavilion for sponsors, food and hotel packages, plenty of transportation options (taxis, limos, and Star Metro shuttle from Governors Mall and FSU area), as well as sharing in the ball drop in New York Citys Time Square via TV monitors that will be displayed throughout the venue.
